Sidi Aria Gore Boots - Black
Customer Product Reviews
Great fit, very sturdy boots!
I tried 5 different pairs of boots from Sportsbikeshop (as always excellent delivery and return so it's easy to try on at home). Initially I was after a fairly plain leather waterproof pair of boots. Nothing too Robocop! I tried the Alpine Stars Web, RST Tundra, Dainese night hawk and Spidi touring boots. Of all, these had the most secure and best fit out of the box. And they're super stiff but in a good way. Your foot slides easily and securely into the boot and is help nicely at the heel. It has a really good side zip and small velcro flap to secure it. The other boots mostly had a full velcro section which was more fiddly. And the zips weren't as secure. They took a few rides and walks to wearnin. Still stiff but very comfy, secure and with no pinch points or rubbing. They stayed fully dry in heavy rain (tested on a few long rides). They are very breathable. In the summer these will be lovely and cool. I did find my feet felt almost cold in 4 degree weather. But never uncomfortst. And thicker socks would help. Overall these look great, are built well and have loads of support. I'd recommend trying these if you're after some waterproof boots!
Great boots, Great design and comfort. Not long had these and they haven't seen rain yet but all's good so far. The comfort is probably the best I've used. The design has had a lot of thought in it and as you would expect from Sidi it all works well. Light weight enough to plod about in comfort and no squeaks! Overall a solid 8 out of 10 only because they haven't got wet yet.
Perfection from Sidi
These boots are perfect from day one and look great as well. With Goretex so no issue in using them come rain or shine as there material make up breaths keeping feet cool but not cold with top spec protection in the boots construction as well, prefect at a great price from Sportsbikeshop.
Good quality and fit but very breezy
These boots feel nice and comfortable and well made. I think they look good as well and are fine to walk around in off the bike. The only gripe I have is that they are VERY breezy. I thought being GoreTex lined they would be OK to use all year round but that's definitely not the case. They are more of a summer boot I would say, however wearing a couple of pairs of socks keeps my feet warm enough.
Nice boots, but not for me
I bought these boots after my Hein Gerike gave up the ghost. As usual, the quality of the Sidi boots is excellent. A lovely feel to them & a very good price. However, I did find the fit some what odd. Left foot was a perfect fit, however the right I found had no feel in it & also was a little loose. I sat on the bike & tried the rear brake & in all honesty I could not feel anything. A nice boot, not just for me.
Rival to any Daytona
Good price, no breaking in needed, fits true to size. It's definitely a boot to fit under jeans, I wouldn't try tucking trousers into them. They're fine in wet weather, I've done a lap of the M25 in crap weather without any feeling of cold or wet in my feet. Also subtle enough to be worn off the bike if you're into that sort of thing.
