Eleveit Venom Waterproof Boots - Black

I have a pair of short boots which have been excellent although starting to get a little tired now. I wanted a new pair which were longer but equally as comfortable. I didn't have time to go in store so ordered online knowing how good SBS is with returns and customer service in general. The new boots arrived next day and didn't disappoint from the off. They looked well made and were comfy in the house. I tested on a shorted ride which worked well too. The next ride was to Germany and back with a mixture of nice sun and heavy rain. The boots held up brilliantly and were comfortable throughout. The boots have a decent sole width so even made touching the ground easier which is a bonus. In all a great boot at sensible price point.

I’ve been looking for something for riding this winter and after lots of reading of reviews I went for these boots. So far so good. Won’t really know until January when we get the really cold days. The comfort is certainly as promised and kept my feet dry during a couple of September downpours, that was a relief. The disappointment comes from the ICE scan not working. One of the reasons for the purchase. I have other sources for that though, I didn’t want to drop a star for that, but it is a bug bare

I bought the Eleveit Venom boots in early May 25 for a 3000 mile bike tour to Europe, including 3 days in the Italian Dolomites and 3 days in the Alps. The boots kept me warm over mountain passes (down to 5C), and dry through 2 days of heavy rain (socks completely dry). They are very comfortable to ride and walk in; the only criticism is that the gear level has started to abrade the suede upper, the rubber rand has started to lift, and a couple of the stitches have failed (I have contacted Eleveit directly to suggest a reinforcement patch be added to instep/toe area). Other than this I would say they deserve their Ride recommendation.

I needed a boot that I could use every day, my requirements include being waterproof and with an inside leg zip for ease of getting on , very pleased with purchase with an additional bonus of having a slightly thicker sole which believe it or not makes getting on the bike a lot easier added safety features with e chip , very comfortable
