ACF-50 Anti Corrosion Lubricant 32oz Spray
Customer Product Reviews
Better than the aerosol
Nice size, covered the whole bike after washing and drying. Everything but tyres, brakes, seat & bars. Makes a real difference to the corrosion on the bike. Spray bottle is hand but the jet is fine. If you squeeze the trigger guard you get the atomised spray you need, that's my only small gripe.
Good protection for your pride and joy.
Gave the bike a good clean, took a couple of hours then applied ACF50, carefully avoiding brakes etc. Wiped it down with a cloth and it brought up the plastics and metal parts to a nice sheen. Best to place the spray bottle in warm water and apply a bit at a time wiping it around with a cloth. Really has made a difference to the protection of the bike.
Makes my bike shine and protects
Used this for first time after reading reviews, wow excellent stuff, washed my bike then applied with spray bottle that come with it put spray bottle in hot water for 10 mins before applying, worked well even spray. Had some surface rust on a few nuts but after using this all gone. Would highly recommend
Er, it's ACF 50, say no more
I have developed something of an ACF 50 tick: I need to put it on everything. Indispensable for my push-bike, too, to protect metal parts that are exposed to much and salt all year round. Used it to free up the bottom-end cranks on a bike that hadn't been used for a while, left it to penetrate overnight and it then turned like new. I have plenty of stories like this, but I won't bore you. The only niggle I have is with the pump-spray, which is not as resilient as it might be and can end up dribbling fluid.
Unlike anything else I've ever used
This stuff is just beyond words, not only does it protect your pride and joy in the winter but the shine it leaves on the bike is amazing. The only advice I could give would be pour some into the spray bottle and then sit that bottle in boiling hot water so the fluid warms up and sprays better as it is a little thick. Also be prepared for some smoke when you start the bike after.
An Overcoat for Bikes
I have heard people rave about ACF-50 so thought I'd give it a try. Last time and only time I used anything like this was in the 80's and it peeled strangely. My Bike does look a little different somehow alloy looks brighter as does my Engine casings. No idea yet how it will protect but only time will tell but if it's used on Planes then I have no worries. We're all 2 wheeled pilots anyway aren't we?
A generous bottle
A little of this stuff goes a long way and as I have bought it to treat and protect vulnerable and exposed parts of my two scooters I think this '32 oz' bottle is going to last a long time! It is fairly easy to apply but care must be taken not to spray the brakes. I've applied it to the engine casings, frame, suspension, forks, stand etc. It's early days but some of these areas were showing a little corrosion and hopefully it will stop that and protect for a good while as promised.
Really good so far, the only thing is, which is nothing to do with Sportsbikeshop is that the spray bottle that comes with it, squirts as a jet and can't be adjusted. Would be better if it was more of a spray than a single shot. But the actually ACF-50 is great thank you!
