Advice & Guides For the best chance of staying dry, laminated waterproofing is the way to go…
Customers are impressed with the jacket's quality, comfort, and waterproof capabilities, often outperforming more expensive options. It's praised for its fit, venting, and quick-drying, laminated fabric. The removable thermal liner and adjustable features offer versatility for different climates. Some customers noted issues with the cuffs and collar adjustments, but overall satisfaction remains high. It's described as a great value for money, being effective in varying weather conditions. Many prefer this jacket over pricier brands, highlighting its excellent performance in both hot and cold weather.
I wanted a jacket that I could use all year round, and this one hasn’t disappointed. The quality is excellent, with a premium feel as soon as you put it on. It fits comfortably, offers plenty of adjustment, and doesn’t feel overly bulky despite the level of protection.
There are lots of useful pockets, and the ventilation works well when the weather warms up. It also gives me confidence when riding in wet conditions thanks to the waterproofing. It’s not the cheapest jacket out there, but you can definitely see where the money has gone. Overall, I’m really pleased with it and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality touring jacket.
I first got this during the winter months and the 5* is for winter and rain. During summer this is a warm jacket but if your a cooling base layer under its awesome.
Decent quality for price. Fits me well as a taller rider. Shame back protection not included but can get as an option. Would recommend.
Exceptionally well fitting jacket, accurate size guide unlike some other brands. Useful features and well thought out practical design. The jacket has a premium feel and appears to be very well made and hopefully durable over time. The supplied shoulder and elbow protection sit in the correct position and don’t intrude through movement. Water resistance hasn’t been tested yet, but the ventilation system is working very well. Lost a star due to not including a back protector (bought separately for an offer price of £20) which would complete the jacket. Overall I’m very happy, the delivery and service was excellent
Very comfortable a good fit, quality material.
Bought this jacket as it had loads of good reviews. Waterproof when worn in the wet. Have also worn on a hot day and the vents work very well.
Best fitting jacket I’ve ever purchased. Lightweight and comfortable. First test was a week riding in Wales with mixed weather. The jacket performed superbly in wind, rain and sunny 20 degree temperatures. Very practical with all the pockets and air vents. Would highly recommend.
Well made, good fit and well worth the money
I have been out in the rain a couple of times, it kept me dry in a heavy downpour. The outer jacket was soaked but it was dry again when I went back out a few hours later. It’s better than some more expensive jackets I have bought. Recommend it.
Purchased on a reduced price which is always good. Its a well-made coat with a decent removable thermal inner layer - I have yet to test it in rain so cannot speak to it's waterproofing. But it isn't perfect; there is no back protector as standard, and the pockets are not the largest - which means putting phones and other larger devices inside is a bit of an issue. Plus, said-pockets are placed just such that if you regularly use a backpack the straps may well get in the way and 'crush' pocket contents against you (again, not the best option for phones)
Suitable for the wide range of weather, looks smart and reasonably priced.
The larger vents work so much better than my older Oxford jacket. Also the single front zip and a Velcro flap is easier to use instead of double zip too.
Also feels lighter.
Overall very pleased
Very good jacket but the collar is to low so let's in the rain down your neck and chest. Plus the zips up the arms leak after a few hours in the rain.
Light and easy to wear with plenty of pockets but a bit short and thin for winter use
Brilliant bit of kit at that price point
This is a good value versatile jacket, sold to me by a knowledgeable crew at the shop.
As they say, there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad gear. Today's riding jackets are expected to be technically brilliant but that comes at a price with laminate jackets appearing at the top of that pile. Enter the new Oxford Mondial - technically brilliant but at a price that is within reach of all discerning motorcycle riders. In addition it's light weight, doesn't hold water in a downpour and dries out really quickly.
