DXR Batilius Aramid Fibre Jeans - Blue

I've been riding with a pair of Bull-it jeans for the last 2 years which have been gr8, but they'd started to get worn out around the seat area!! I wanted a different style, ideally with cargo style with led pockets. I'd looked at several and then I saw these for virtually half the price. The reviews were good, so I decided to give them a go and ordered 2 pairs in different colours. My previous jeans were 38" waist and they had quite a bit of stretch, so I was concerned that these might not have as much give in the waist, so ordered 40" (xxxl). I ordered online, but upon trying them I found the waist too large (yayyy!!!). My nearest store in Southampton had both in XXL 38", so reserved and did exchange in store. (Awesome as always Sportsbikeshop) They are a gr8 fit, I'm normally 32/3 inch leg and these hang just right, so don't ride up once on the bike. They look gr8 with a nice slim leg. They feel like they'll be a little warmer in the winter, yet not any hotter in this hot weather we're having this summer. Only issue I find is, if my legs are a little sweaty after work, the inner lining can be a little difficult to get on and makes the trousers feel a little restrictive as the lining is gripping my skin. The outer lining isn't tight, but I'm not used to having a 2nd lining, so took a little while to get used to. The trousers only come with knee pads and I'll be honest, they are flimsy and rubbish, but I've put my knee and hip level 2 pads from my Bull-it jeans in and they fit perfectly and are very comfortable, both on and off the bike. I'm really happy with these, I don't know how long they'll last etc, but for £70 each, they're worth a punt and I don't regret getting them at all. And I have 2 pairs to rotate when washing etc!! Also fantastic service from Sportsbikeshop as always!!

Great trousers especially when you consider the price, not perfect although pretty close. Really well made with solid stitching, very comfortable and smart enough to wear off the bike when needed and not look silly. My only criticism really would be the included knee amour feels very cheap but at this price I would be surprised if it didn’t. I replaced mine with a spare set of level 2 RST pads I had and bobs your uncle. Happily buy another pair, shame they don’t make a caramel colour..
