Verified Customer Reviews for Alpinestars Corozal Adventure Boots
Customers highlight the boot’s immediate comfort, waterproof nature, and high-quality, sturdy construction. Despite initial stiffness and occasional squeaking, the boots become more flexible and silent over time. They provide excellent protection and are adjustable for a perfect fit. However, some noted bulkiness that affected gear shifting and potential size inconsistencies. The boots are suitable for various weather conditions and some off-roading, but issues like outer material wear and sizing concerns were noted. Overall, they are lauded for their durability, comfort, and functional features.
Comfortable from the box
Well made and reasonable price
Not used on the rain yet but no reason to believe not fully waterproof
Bought to replace Sidi Adventure 2
Seem to be a good choice
Great boots that feel sturdy and protective when you are wearing them. You can adjust the straps so you get the prefect fit. Comfortable out of the box I can also confirm they are waterproof. Deep tread on the soles gives peace of mind in the wet. I know these boots will last for years which makes the purchase price great value for money. Superb boots
Boots are very comfortable and remarkably light for their look. The buckles are easily useable with one hand. The only thing I'm not keen on, now I have put them on with my outer trousers is that they look a bit like wellies rather than adventure touring boots. Not tested in the wet yet so can't comment on their waterproofing.
After using these boots for around 13 months and covering 3000 miles max, the sides that have touched the frame of the bike have not worn very well with the outer material pealing off. Did not expect this from such an expensive boot . Sent them back to sports bike shop but they were unable to do anything with them which was disappointing
Had a pair of these for the last four and a half years. Warm, dry, comfortable, and Sturdy boots. They've survived having a KTM Adventure bike dropped on them, kept me dry in torrential downpours over hundreds of miles at a time. Never needed extra socks in winter, and they're as comfortable 12 hours in as they were when you put them on that morning.
So glad Sportsbikeshop had a pair in my size when everyone else was telling me they'd been discontinued.
Hot Tip: Grab a pair of these while they're still available. You won't regret it
Bought ostensibly for road with some off road 70/30. Very comfy and fully adjustable and completely waterproof. Buckles are a bit fiddly to adjust looser but excellent for quick on and off. Feet were comfortable even on a hot weekends riding.
I bought these for winter riding and non-extreme off-road (for ploughing through proper mud-baths you need dedicated off-road boots). They were immediately comfy (boot-size = shoe size, though feel free to go a size up if you envisage wearing particularly thick socks) but they did squeak. Once the initial stiffness had worn off, the squeaking also disappeared and they are now very comfortable indeed.
On the bike I have mixed feelings, as the sturdiness that keeps out the weather also means that there is not much feel on the brake or the gear lever. You may have to adjust the position of either or both of these. My Alpinestars touring trousers don't fit properly over the bulky tops and they won't zip closed. This is a minor issue as dirt and rain can't get in anyway. There may be other trousers in the Alpinestars range that fit over, but I would have expected them to be fully compatible with these boots.
All in all, these are definitely a no-messing kind of bad weather boot, suitable also for light to moderate off-roading. I wouldn't wear them in summer, mind!
Great adventure/touring boot. Although, a tad bulky but this is to be expected with this style of boot. Overall, very pleased with my purchase.
I needed (Wanted) new boots so I popped down to Sportsbikeshop where I tried on almost every pair in the place. As soon as I put my foot in these boots, it was a done deal.
The staff were great and kept bringing boots out, offered advice… how they didn't wrap a pair round my head, I don't know… but, I walked a way a happy man. Since owning them I have been for a few rides and found them warm and still very comfortable.. a real winner.
Great adventure/touring boot. They are very comfortable and waterproof.
Good sturdy pair of boots that are comfy after only a few hours and 250 miles.
Yes the bit is chunky but fits under my BM GS gear change easily enough.
Clasp system is very easy to use. Wife summed it up saying 'old man boots not like your race boots!'
Great service from Luke at SBS as always.
I was a bit wary of these being too stiff and therefore not that comfortable, but i've worn them for full days out and by the end i'd forgotten I was wearing these and not my sorter ankle-length boots.
Protection looks excellent, though i've fortunately not had to put it to the test.
Fit was true to my regular shoes (EU43, UK9)
These were recommended by staff at sportsbikshop, I'm tall so need a taller boot for my adventure bike and these fit the bill, warm and very comfy, no yet tested in rain but other reviews are gleaming. Definitely go one size up.
I have always worn Alpinestars and found them to be really comfortable. As a female rider, it is difficult to find a good adventure boot. Luckily I am a UK 6 and my feet are just big enough to fit the smallest size in these Corozal boots (US 7 / Euro 40.5). Really comfy and well made, as I would expect from Alpinestars. Super fast next day delivery from Sportsbikeshop.co.uk
Tried on various boots at the Boston store and these were by far the best. Been using these for my daily commute and are extremely comfortable and very protective. They are brilliant on my multistrada but not a boot to be used for walking around in all day unless they are fully worn in.
So glad I went for these. They're snug, warm and very sturdy. They are also much easier to walk in that my old Tech3's. Clasp system is also much improved. All in all - very good boots!
Excellent service again from SBS - sorted a sizing issue effortlessly and had the correct size in a couple of days.
Feel like good sturdy boots, still need to break them in and can't vouch for the waterproofing or durability yet (hence only 4 stars). Order larger than normal, I use size 10, needed 11.
Excellent service and fine product
The boots themselves exude quality, but the fit left something to be desired, in that they were too big in the heel. They were also massively protected in the shin, but this meant they were too big to go under my adventure trousers!
Usual excellent service meant I could easily exchange them for a different brand. So, they're great if they fit you (and go under your flares!)
