RST Ambush CE Waterproof Boots - Black

hat you would expect from RST, good quality and comfortable. Feel sturdy and you feel safe in them. Buckles can be a bit fiddly and my feet got a bit nippy in weather of 10 degrees but maybe that's just me! All in all pleased with them and would recommend.

As a motorbike instructor a comfortable and waterproof boot is a must. I tried on a couple of other adventure boots (need a thick sole to cope with the walking) at a similar price point but these were instantly comfortable so good tick in that box. Next day rained solid for the entire day and feet were perfectly dry so again that box ticked.
Would certainly buy again and would certainly recommend.

I have had my Ambush boots for almost a year now. I find them comfortable, even on 200 mile plus rides. During the odd downpour that I have been caught in, there wer no signs of water ingress. I sometimes struggle to get the catch to go through the strap, but that's probably just my lack of flexibility :) I would definitely buy again, if they need replacing in the future.

Very robust. Haven't tried yet with rain, but they look so solid that I doubt they won't do well. They fit well even for those who are slim and have chicken legs. Only downside I've found so far is that I can barely feel my rear break.

The boots are warm, dry, and comfortable after a couple of days. They are reassuringly sturdy and the grip even on petrol station forecourts is great. Worth every penny. After I wore them for two long trips I realised there was a minor defect in the way one of the strap pockets had been stitched. Called SBS, they sent another pair out the same day, and trusted I would return the originals. SBS are fantastic guys to deal with!

They are strong and supportive. not good for people who have big calfs as they are hard to close up. The toe is chunky, hard to change gear on my street triple 765. Can be a bit pain till worn in as the buckle rubs on the side of the foot.

I have given these boots five stars, I have only worn the boots at around five degress, If you wear these in winter wear some very thick socks and I would go for a size up i'm around a ten, ten and a half size - 45
I went for a 46 glad I did!
They fit really well and they feel safer with the straps and are comfy to wear when your wearing them

Excellent quality and great grip on the road. Comfortable to wear from day one

Great comfy, we're very waterproof and warm on last trip to Wales, great vfm

Worn for the first time and as with all new leather boots they will take a little time to wear in fully.
However they do give enough whilst charging gear and braking.
Walking is comfortable although still new.
They look really good and go really well with my RST leather touring pants worn inside the top of these boots.
With only normal socks they're OK although I think next ride I'll wear better socks for the Autumn weather next ride out.

I bought these boots to tour with as I have another pair of Spada boots for day to day riding and after reading other reviews they seemed just what I wanted and at a decent price, I have used the boots twice this year once for a tour of Spain and the Pyrenees and secondly for a tour of Scotland last week where it did not disappoint and it rained and after around an hour or so of rain that familiar feeling of firstly my right foot then shortly afterwards my left foot getting wet were felt I was wearing goretex and waterproof trousers so theres no way the water was trickling down my legs into the boots I was left feeling disappointed as I really like the boots but now they seem to let water in within about 20 mins of rain and wet feet is the result.
Sportsbikeshop have been brilliant and are sending them back to RST for testing/analysis I'm really hoping I get a positive outcome to this maybe I just got unlucky and received a dodgy pair as all other reviews seem to be from riders with dry feet . . for now anyway.
