Great product at a very good price, sportsbikeshop staff as always very helpful, many thanks.
Easy to follow instructions
Easy to install
Quality item well worth the money and build quality second to none
Have these on both bikes. Best thing about these is they switch off when bike is off so no wasting battery if you forget.
Despite the Oxford website recommending this product for the GSX-S1000. The Right hand grip does not fit the throttle tube - I had to completely reshape the tube on a lathe to get it to fit.
Also, the bracket for the controller does not fit without reshaping.
Once finally fitted, the grips do work well
Being a biker since 1975, and now being 64, this is the first time I've had heated grips. Oxford Advanced, easy to fit, oh my, I wished I'd fitted them years ago. Easy to fit, Theses are essential, Warm hands, great controler, concentration up, over the moon.
Easy to fit and works great
Oxford have some great products including these hot grips. SBS are excellent as always and the staff are amazing. Many thanks once again…
Love them and very good value. Warmer than many OEM heated grips.
After a few sets I've found that the sports grips suit me best as they are a little thinner than the touring/adventure ones.
Fitting is straightforward but don't rush it, lots of eyeing up time and dry fitting before you commit to glue.
The throttle twist tube is often too wide for the right hand grip to fit over but sanding it down a few mm with sandpaper is easy to do but takes a while to get a good sliding fit.
Very warm and if it's not freezing at motorway speed 30/40% is plenty.
Good quality and good connections.
Excellent heated grips. Installation instructions were easy to understand and include tips for avoiding possible problems. Install time about 1 hour. Plus another hour rerouting the wiring a couple of times. Have had a couple of rides in 50 F temperatures and no more then 50% heat level is necessary, with leather gloves. Have not tried the auto shutoff feature yet. Highly recommended for fit, finish and operation.
I needed to replace broken grips but could not understand which to buy. Oxford Products were helpful but the guys at Sportsbikeshop were sooo patient with me faffing about trying to choose.
Have not fitted these to the intended bike yet but have on another and find them faultless. Very easy to use and seamlessly fit once you know your way around a bike. Well-made product for the price as with most Oxford items.
Wired them into my 2022 MT09SP to work directly with the screen control. Work perfect and at a fraction of the price of Yamaha grips.
The Oxford grips are great, little fiddly to fit. But work fantastic. They seem very well made and all the connections are easy to connect.
Best purchase, does exactly as it says, a must have on any bike. Easy to install, and you will never get a bike without them! Amazing value for money
I have fitted several sets to different bikes. The wiring is straight forward and should not present any problem to even a Lego builder. The multiple settings provide a great temperature range for all weathers. I fitted these to a Honda CB500X 2022. The only mistake I made was trimming the end of the grips to the end of the handlebars. The Honda bar end weights were designed for a slight overlap and would have fitted without any trimming. I ended up with aftermarket bar ends to fit neatly. When fitting the throttle grip make sure you have cleaned of the ridges on the throttle and the lip at the inner edge. Great product at a great price from a good supplier. Highly recommended.
Had to replace my original grips , so thort ahead , amazed on how warm these get
Fitting was so simple , easy operation .even with gloves on & with the self turn off no flat battery .
Excellent product have used for years, wouldn't ride without them being fitted. Would highly recommend.
Absolutely amazing product. Simple to fit and work amazing. I would recommend to anyone for any bike.
Oxford Heated Advanced Hot Grips - Sports
- Weather proof construction
- Nine heat settings
- Intelligent heat setting memory
- Battery saving mode
- Optimised tread pattern
- Simple installation
- Length: 123mm / 114mm
The Oxford Advanced HotGrips feature 9 heat settings to give increased control for the perfect operating temperature with LED lights to indicate the level. The intelligent heat setting memory function stores the previous heat setting and defaults to this at power up, saving time when in regular use. The heat controller uses a sealed-for-life welded case construction for long term durability and weather proofing along with weather proof power connectors to further protect the HotGrips against the elements. The battery saving mode protects against flat batteries. If you forget to turn the switch off, it will do it for you. If the engine is switched off, the grips will automatically turn off until enough power is available. This eliminates the need for the user to buy and fit relays. The grips have ergonomically engineered surface structures to optimise riding performance. Thicker rubber in areas of maximum wear ensure high levels of grip and vibration absorption. Thanks to their unique expandable design and fool proof wiring loom, HotGrips are extremely easy to fit. Connection to the motorcycle could not be simpler. Simply connect the two ring connectors to the battery.

hi will these fit a tuono v4r 2014 model? thanksMarch 10, 2023
Providing your bike has 22mm handlebars then these will fit no trouble at all, however we would suggest measuring the lengths of the grips currently on your bike, and comparing those against the measurements found on each individual product page (Sports, Touring, Adventure etc) to find the grips that would be the best suited for your model bike.

There are designed for 22mm handlebars unfortunately, with the exception of the Cruiser grips, which are designed for 1" bars.
Do the advanced grips get any hotter than the premium ones or is it just more settings and more weather proof? Also I have a gsr600 so should I go for touring or sports grips?May 2, 2019
The grips will not get any hotter than the premium version. The connections are superior to the older TM style connectors. Either will be fine. The end of the grips may need trimming to fit - the maximum uncut and cut lengths are shown on each item. If you can measure the grips that are already fitted, the ones to purchase are the grips that require the least trimming to fit.

Looking at these for a ZZR1400... Are they ok?October 30, 2017
These or the Touring grips will be fine. The best thing to do is to measure the length of the grips that are already fitted to your bike, and purchase the grips that require trimming the least. The standard length of these is 123mm, and the maximum trimmed length is 114mm. On the Touring Grips, the uncut length is 120mm and the maximum trimmed length is 110mm.
