I bought these for doing the NC500 and they're brilliant. I had been using a cheap £70 pair of intercoms for years but couldn't even hold a conversation with a pillion over 40mph. The noise cancelling on these is excellent. The battery life is also great, 4 days of intensive use and I still had plenty left. The only things I don't like so much are the buttons aren't easy to feel out with anything thicker than summer gloves and the volume and skip buttons start out really stiff, I almost peeled the bracket off my helmet trying to turn the volume down. Also, they react to wind blast by turning volume up and down, which I find pretty annoying - this can be turned off in the app though! Would 100% recommend.
Moved up from an Active to the Avant because I wanted the dual channel, mesh and to connect more riders.
Sound quality is great, system is really good for the price but is let down by the deceptive YouTube video that suggests you can pair 8 units, in sequence, easily...we'll, you can but only on a 1-1 basis or above 4 I.e 1-5 or 1-8 etc. If you want to pair 1-2 or 1-3/4 then you need to piggyback pair, not mesh, which is frustrating.
Service from SBS was fantastic as usual, can't fault that
Very easy to set up better in every way from my old interphone 4 . I have had to sent one back as battery failed it was replaced with a new unit good service well happy.
Just had our new Interphone Avants a week now and we have been out about 5 times, much better range than our old Sports which were great for the money but the new Avants are much better as far as range and battery go, great value and simple to use if you read the instructions or watch the YouTube clips.
Don't seem to auto connect as we still have to tap the button but everything else is great, very happy.
Easy set up and crystal clear.
Auto connect for me and the mrs, no fumbling with buttons when switching off and on again.
Sound is amazing and totally waterproof.
