Cardo Spirit Bluetooth Intercom - Single

The unit itself is good and easy to handle while riding, once you know the controls. The speakers however arnt the best and the louder you make them the more gritty the sound, however you can by better headphones if you want better quality. The microphone is good it can hear what I say very clearly. All the wiring was easy to set up and had plenty of extra length for larger helmets. Overall the entire thing is a decent pair to start with but id recommend getting much better speakers.

For a reasonable price, I find that this offers a good option for bluetooth connection to GPS and phone (I don't use the intercom feature). I found it easy to install, to link to my TomTom and my phone, and updating the unit via the app worked fine for me. As others suggest, the volume sometimes seems a bit quiet, especially when wearing ear plugs, and I find that this is exasperated by the wind noise generated by having the unit clipped to the side of my helmet. That said, the volume sometimes starts quiet but then rises to a good level after a second or two, so this may be related to the unit being designed to adjust the volume according to the noise in the environment. Whatever the reason, it can make hearing phone calls challenging. Nevertheless, I think it's good for the price.

As I wasn't interested in the intercom part, but wanted a decent product, I went for the cheaper end of the range.
So far it's been absolutely perfect.

Great product, easy to install.
My partner is over the moon as she can contact me whilst Im out riding and she has no issue hearing me over the wind noise. She says its not even noticeable. Also we have a 2nd one my partner uses when shes riding pillion, again perfect for what we need it for. Great for less than £100.

Cardo app didn't recognise alot of my song files , but android music player worked fine

As the title says, the sound quality and volume is better than I'd been expecting at the lower end of the price range

Fitment can be fiddly depending on your helmet - I had to use the sticky pad to mount the actual unit to my LS2 helmet as the clip wouldn't fit on the edge of it

Getting the app and setting it up was easy enough otherwise

This is really a good bit of kit, linked to my phone for clear Goole maps navi instructions, music quality fair, I would go for the more expensive JBL speakers if you are a serious music listener.
