This is a heavy well engineered fitting kit. It did require a small amount of cutting of the inner plastic trim panels but you have to remove these anyway as a part of the fitting so trimming them is easy. it all went together ok and took me around 1.5 hours to fit

The Top Box Fitting Kit is designed specifically for this bike, guaranteeing the fit and ensuring compatibility with Shad pannier rails (where available). The simple to attach bike model specific fitting kit goes straight on to the tail of the bike and a Shad mounting plate (which is included in any Shad top box purchase except TR37/TR48) sits securely on top allowing a Shad top case to attach with ease.
