Customers consistently praise this chain lube for its excellent performance in both wet and dry conditions. They laud its minimal fling, ease of application, and ability to keep the chain looking clean and reconditioned. Many find it superior to other lubes they have tried, noting its durability and effectiveness in extending chain life. The product is also commended for not picking up dust and debris, making it a top choice for both casual and avid riders.
Castrol Chain lube is my preferred chain lube. If appllied the night before you use the bike it only gives minimal fling. I don't ride the winter months so there maybe other products better suited to that period.
Best chain lube I've used ever with no fling
Good to use and extra straw nozzle. Need to mask behind where you spray with cardboard etc
Been my go to lube for about 20 years. Lubricates superbly, not too much fling, stays on and works for a good amount of time. Always in stock At Sportsbikeshop.
I ride a cb1100 r/s, Castrol chain lube worked best for me, it sticks well to the chain, and lasts long enough. Top quality, at a good price too.
It is chain lube at the end of the day. However, knowing you've got a proper trusted long standing brand just makes it feel better.
Gave castrol racing chain lube a go after reading all the positive reviews about it. It goes on well and is almost clear which leaves the chain looking nice. Looks to penetrate well into all the rollers and o/x rings. I have had a bit of fling on my wheel, not sure if it's me putting too much on the chain or if that's just what it does, but at the price of it I'm not really going to complain, it's a good bit cheaper than some of the other chain lubes I've used.
I have not found anything better.
Good stuff, bought because it was on sale and had good reviews. Seems as good as any so far.
I've used Castrol Racing Lube for years but recently switched to XCP after it's excellent scoring in the Bennetts lube test. I can say the XCP is very good except in regard to fling. Even using small amounts 2 days before a ride I was getting small flecks on the tread of the tyre. Probably not enough to cause real issue, but not something I like so I'd find myself stopping after 15 miles and wiping lube off the tyre.
With a small tour coming up the thought of taking the XCP and having to faff about wiping lube off the tyre had me buying another can of Castrol. The Castrol does attract a bit more dirt/dust due to it's slightly tacky nature but has almost zero fling even when giving the chain a quick squirt 15 mins before setting off after a rainy tour ride. I think both lubes are good, both have pros/cons but it's the Castrol for me I think.
Great product, recommended by a friend and does the job.
Does the job as described
Does what it is supposed to do and does it well.
Recommended by the Honda dealership that service my bike - So comes with a good rep.
Simple, l have not found anything better, does a good job. H.
Good Lube, nobody wants to ride dry...
Used this for a few years now and find it easy to apply and virtually no fling. Does the job admirably.
My go to chain lube.. never had any problems with it.. always makes the chain look nice.. very little fling from chain.
Easy to use, bike runs smoother with having nicely lubed chain. And most of it stays on!!!
