Brilliant stuff

I use this on my year round commuter bike (aprilia 1000R tuono) and it protects it from the worst of the winter road crud and salt I ride all weathers and wash the bike down weekly. It's very easy to apply a thin layer and one can lasts a good few applications. It also leaves a nice glossy finish where it's been sprayed if that's important to you.

It's winter so regular thorough washing and a quick spray with this on any exposed areas is a good idea. The testing done by Bennets seems to show this is effective.

I’ve tried most rust protection products and I like this one the most. Better in the clear coat version. Spray it on exposed metal after I’ve washed my bike. After a U.K. winter my bike had no visible rust.

Used it before and can confirmed as I use my bike all year XCP clear coat really works. Two year old Transalp with 18 thousand miles looks as good as new .

Easy to use but attracts road grime

Very easy to use (needs to be at room temperature), smells very similar to lanoguard and a little goes a long way. Used it on the white frame of an Africa Twin and it dries clear. The bike was left for a week and then ridden in mixed weather conditions. The XCP attracts road grime making everything look dirty. It's easy to clean this grime away but Scottoil 365 is much easier to use and doesn't hold dirt and grime.
Will probably use use the XCP (or lanoguard) on the hidden parts of the bike and top up the visible bits with 365.

I've used this clearcoat to winterise all our motorbikes for several years. They keep their shine, so we'll worth the effort. Easy to use. Best applied with the aid of a small brush. I prefer it to ac-50.
