Advice & Guides Waterproof textile jackets don't have to be a big-money affair. Here are five budget belters...
Customers praise the Oxford jacket for its high-quality design, comfort, and effective weather resistance. The jacket is appreciated for being warm and waterproof with ample ventilation features. While some found the sizing generous, others recommend trying it on for best fit; many opted to upgrade the armor for added protection. Pockets are noted for their practicality, although one review mentioned water leakage. Overall, it offers great value with minor compromises in certain features like pocket waterproofing and back protectors.
Good venting on arms and chest.
Nice secure zipped inner pocket.
Fits great, lots of good features like the air vent and removable liner
I thought it was good value for money.
This jacket is a really nice, true to size, fit. It’s got plenty of pockets too. It has fairly good ventilation although it could be better. Being able to hook open the 2 front vents and the collar are nice touches. It’s still a warm jacket in 17 degrees C weather even without the thermal lining. I do have to remember that I got this jacket at a reduced price though, and for £100, I shouldn’t complain.
Brought on a spur as in the shop it was on sale so at £99 a bargain
Great product that truly does what it’s supposed to
I bought this for my 6 2 husband and the length of the jacket is great and zips to the Calgary trousers. Can t comment on waterproofness as no rain yet
Really like this jacket , you feel secure with the protection and the the yellow stipes on it , other driver can see you .
Wanted a waterproof jacket for occasional use and this was a great product at a great price
Fantastic Jacket, nice big pockets, very comfortable and a good price.
Very comfortable and can be seen from a distance. Think every biker should wear hi vis , makes me feel safer
Preferred the styling of the Montreal 4.0 the 5.0 despite the better Airvents in the 5.0.
Not wearing it at the moment as I'm wearing my Oxford Arizona Air Textile Jacket in this weather ?? also bought the Montreal 4.0 Gloves to match too??
What an unbelievable price absolute bargain
This is a very good jacket for the price. I'm a 45 inch chest and the XL fitted me just right. I got caught out with some showers on my bike, I was nice and dry when I got home. My only slight criticism of this jacket is it's a little on the heavy side. Overall though I'm very happy with my purchase.
Good quality, perfect fit, very practical
Its really well made and unlike some jackets its not too heavy.
A well equipped jacket from Oxford to replace my vintage Spada kit. Bought this a size up from normal to get the arm length and a little extra room for a jumper perhaps as well as its own thermal lining. Has enough features to satisfy most UK riding . Very happy with my purchase especially as I picked it up at the sale price.
Super service from the Boston team.
