Have only used once so far and I'm pleased. As others have mentioned its a little on the heavy side, but it fits really well and didn't notice this while riding. Have not used in the rain yet so cannot comment on that part

This is a great bikers textile jacket that ticks most necessary boxes for me. It's waterproof and comes with Protective Shoulder, Elbow and Back Pads already inserted. For the price I don't think it can be beaten. The jacket will also connect to any zipped waist pants that you may have. There are some V2 Ascent pants available too. There are enough pockets, air vents and reflective areas to bolster this jackets capabilities. Zipped pockets etc are waterproof and the Velcro strip over the front zip gives good protection from rain ingress. I just need the Spada Ascent V2 pants to accompany the jacket.

An excellent jacket, fits well and very comfortable, and it comes with shoulder, elbow and back armour. It looks good as well.

Bought the jacket after purchasing the matching trousers previously. It's a heavy weight jacket with the liner fixed inside. I do like the adjustable neck faster. It's very comfortable both on & off the bike. The short attachment zip means I can mix & match with some of my other kit. Coped well with light rain so far. Can't argue with the quality and features for the price

So far so good, I haven't had a rainy day in it yet but it was fine with a drizzle.
Warm and comfortable and sizing is correct.
Only marking it down because the cuffs are too chunky for my liking and don't get under my gloves, leaving wrist exposed to wind and rain.

Brought the jacket and trousers plenty of pockets and fitted very well not tried it out in the rain yet but certainly value for money for spring and a bit of touring, both jacket and trousers were 50% so a real bargain

For a 'budget' jacket this is a good jacket, but it could be so much better!
The jacket is made from a mix of heavy cotton and a nylon-ish canvas. It's supposed to have a DWR coating, but the material 'wetted out' in only a few minutes of rain. Which highlighted another problem: make sure that the velcro storm flap at the front is fully velcro'd down - all the way! After 1.5 hrs riding in the rain I was mostly dry - apart from my stomach, which was soaking. I can only assume (as another reviewer has) that I hadn't fully secured the velcro storm flap down the front. Of course, this would be helped if the main zip was a waterproof variant, which it isn't :-( The jacket sizing is a little generous, but with the various poppers and straps, it cinches up quite well. It's a heavy jacket, especially with the thermal liner fitted, and more so when it's wetted out. I have noticed that the thermal liner has 2 inside pockets, but the jacket on it's own doesn't have any! Just my jacket, or an inconvenient oversight by Spada. And on pockets, the 'hand warmer' pockets can't close, and the lower outside pockets need more of a fold-over to stop water ingress... As it's still cold, wet and miserable, I can't yet comment on the venting. I also tried on the matching trousers, but the sizing wasn't right for me, either right waist and too tight on thighs, or right on thighs and mahusive waist! (Spada sizing appears to be very inconsistent between their ranges!) So these are paired with the Tucson trousers. Overall, for a budget jacket, this is 'ok'. There is room for improvement which I'm sure wouldn't add very much to the overall price. Summary: close, but no cigar!

After wearing leather gear for years I decided to give a textile touring suit a try. I took the numerous positive reviews and purchased this suit. Overall I'm really pleased as I can get multiple layers underneath to keep me warm. Sizing seems pretty spot on and the textile and armour seem to be good quality.

Tested with the matching pants and whilst the jacket did it's job on the first day of rain commute to work, the second day went a little sideways.

I must've not sealed a section of the folding Velcro area as in the centre it let some water in over time from motorway spray just in that area (tested on the way home and it did not so must've been my fault) - Can be a pain to keep the inner funnel style flap in the right position when folding over the Velcro storm flap but if you do it properly it works a treat.

Warm and cosey in 7'c heavy rain morning commute via motorway.

Only downside I have nowhere hot to dry my jacket at work and although it was hung up all day (8-5pm) it was still partially wet for my return albeit not wet inside but starts off cold due to the exterior being wet.. 1* less for holding so much water although it does keep you dry if sealed correctly.
