Scorpion's new peaked helmet is a welcome addition to the adventure lid category...
Customers appreciate the helmet's comfort, lightness, and overall quality, highlighting its well-made construction and premium features. The helmet provides excellent visibility and ventilation, with easy adjustments for intercoms thanks to built-in features. While the pinlock visor fitting is a noted challenge requiring modifications, most customers find value in the additional features, such as the sun visor and airfit cheek pads. Minor issues like the sun visor's distortion and plastic screws are also mentioned. Overall, customers commend the helmet for its affordability and functionality, making it a recommended purchase.
Great quality helmet and very comfortable. Yet to give it a full test be happy up to now.
great fit, good price early days but sun visor worked well.Negative was visor did get a couple of marks where it touches peak (not the end of the world and someone else commented on this before) could easily be changed at production level, leaver to bring sun visor down seemed a bit tough sometimes and was worried could snap (but did not)
Have to say this is one of the most comfortable helmets I’ve used so far, and I’ve had all the top makes in the past, Visor feels secure when riding on the motorway and the internal smoked visor is very handy when the sun suddenly appears when your not expecting it to, Not the quietest helmet if I’m honest but I think with ear plugs it will be more then ok.
Absolutely delighted with my new Scorpion ADF 9000 adventure helmet. I did a lot of research and was greatly assisted by the Ride recommended listings that Sportsbikeshop utilise, and the fantastic information videos on detail, sizing, and real advice from the knowledgeable staff who are bikers !!!
Will use these guys again 100%
Highly recommended,
Many thanks.
Very comfy with fairly low noise. Good ventilation and I love the sun visor. This is my first peaked helmet, and I must admit on a windy day the peak catches in the wind, and you get a bit of head wobble. Not the lightest of helmets but in no way is it heavy.
I have been an flip face rider for decades but this style matches my bike better, this Adventure helmet fits snugly and with the Air feature I can adjust the cheek pressure when I have been riding a few hours to maintain the squish on my cheeks as the liner does relax a bit , it’s nice and comfortable on hours of riding and even though the air flow from the vents is a little poor I have had worse and I just open the visor a bit for better flow, the flip down sunvisor is large and covers my view nicely and I wear glasses which is great to ensure they don’t get smacked when deployed. the helmet also came with the black tinted visor in its own well cushioned sleeve and the pin lock (70) also included and fits as expected and does the job. No fogging yet even during cold mornings., the supplied storage bag also very well mage and padded to keep your helmet dust and scuff free. I love the desert black style. So grab a great adventure helmet and get out there..Happy Trails
Finding a helmet that fits has been a challenge but this Scorpion is perfect. It is quiet and comfortable which improves the enjoyment of my riding. Also looks great. Have found nothing to dislike.
First adventure helmet and very impressed with it especially the big visor, low noise
Great comforty helment
A comfortable and snug helmet with very good range of vision and ventilation without being too bulky. The addition of the chin-mountable action cam point makes this an excellent choice for those who want to record their adventures.
Couple of pointers though: 1 - check sizing; my head size usually falls into the L category, but I found I needed to go XL for this one. So where you can, physically try one on before buying. 2 - take care when attaching the action cam mounting point; the screw is very small, the threading feels like it might strip off if over-tightened, and it isn't perfectly straight.
My last adventure helmet was an Arai Tour x4, this has better features and is more comfortable. Especially like the cutouts for speakers.
Decent wind control when looking ahead but looking in the mirrors gives a good pull on the neck due to the peak.
Decent padding and the colour is really smart.
Really well made helmet and a lovely fit, comes with pinlock and spare visor (light smoked) also a good quality bag to keep it in.. impressive package
Likes style comfort peak works very well only had one ride so far too early to.tell much yet but so far so good
I did a lot of research and tried a load of helmet on but for the price, I'd say this is the best peaked helmet in the price range. Last lid was a Nolan X70 and advantages with this are the peak picks up much less drag. Feels lighter although on paper we're much the same I weight. I'm a large and this lid feels tighter on the cheeks than other brands but not uncomfortable and I am aware will soften over time. Love the colour and decals. My next choice was the Nexx Wed3 Wild, which felt heavy in comparison and just felt too fiddly. Ready to go right out the box. Running a cardo edge comms system which fits well and no complaints.
Very comfortable, stable at high speeds and the design graphics stand out, drop down visor excellent but stiff to get down.
Bought this helmet to replace a flip front, bought my normal size, however had to return it as it was too small, returns process was simple and refund was made instantly. Went up a size which is a perfect fit, helmet is supremely comfortable, the air fit is an added bonus as I can now get the fit spot on, the helmet also comes with a tinted visor.
I had to go a size up, my regular size was too small. It is a nice fit with lots of features, the shell shape made it awkward to fit an intercom mount. The helmet had a few marks which I only noticed after removing the visor film so couldn't return it, disappointed in this.
