Good value compared to Shoei Neotec

I have used Shoei Neotek Helmet's for the last few decades but they are sooooo expensive there must be an alternative ?
My brother sourced and purchased a LS2 Advant X, in black, on inspection and listening to his personal experience and opinion, I figured that, £ for £, it might be a good alternative to my traditional, and expensive, Shoei Neotek.
I went for a white version (I would never choose a black helmet).
Sportsbike shop service was great.
Helmet is a snug & comfortable fit: Love the chin piece that rotates 180° allowing the helmet to be used as Open Face, which I maybe, do more than 50% of usage.
Visor is good but there is noticeable more wind noise than the Shoei, but it is not a problem, the shape of the lower part of the visor seems to be the culprit here.
Big advantage over the Shoei is that the visor will stay where I want it, I have to modify the Shoei to achieve this, not good on such an expensive helmet ?
Optically the LS2 is nearly as good, certainly no problem.
Audibly the LS2 is similar to the Shoei overall, worse on the visor but better around the ears (I don't wear earplugs).
I find the LS2 comfortable and the visor pivot and fitment seem great, a good design.
Unlocking the chin piece is a bit of a faff but I will get used to it.
If you take purchase price into account, I think the LS2 Avant X is a better helmet that the Shoei Neotek range.

The LS2 Advant X is such good value. It is comfortable, relatively light and with a good composite shell. I am using it with an LS2 4X headset which fits nicely into the helmet.

Recently looking for a flip back helmet to have the best of both worlds of a full face/open face. I was looking at the Nolan N120-1 but unfortunately, it wasn't really a snug fit as I've got more of an oval-shaped head. I was recommended this LS2 advant helmet from the guy in the shop and I'm extremely happy I went with his choice. The halmet fits me perfectly, the build quality is top notch and it looks fantastic in my eyes. Would recommend anyone to purchasing one or even just trying it on in the shop.

Tried other makes in store at Preston, but struggled between S and M sizes. This M size seemed to fit well, so had this delivered the next day. tried at home over 7 days and after initially feeling very snug around cheek pads it finally felt right. Have yet to fit Cardo. I would suggest wearing earplugs unless your bike is quieter than mine!

This is my second LS2 helmet I had the the vallant 2 before this one am afraid I can’t tell a lot about it other than it does everything I want it to
I’ve read loads of reviews apparently it’s to noisy it’s heavy blah blah blah
Well it suits me and my needs / and it seems to have better air flow than old one
It’s new it’s all singing all all dancing but it might be for you …But it’s yes from me
