Not really a winter glove

These gloves are not really ideal for winter as I've had them out in 6 deg temps and the tips of my fingers have still got really cold that's only after 20 minutes of riding. I've been riding with these on for about 2 weeks now and I still find it very hard to move my fingers to control my clutch and my brake also I have an hjc rpha70 helmet and trying to push the visor down to lock is a real pain. They are waterproof in bad conditions though but I would go with another glove as I was wanting a warm pair of gloves as well.

Comfortable gloves with decent finger length

I have found these gloves comfortable to wear although my fingertips still get cold even in temperatures up to 10 degrees. The gloves are quite tight to put on as the wrist is quite narrow around the base of the thumb. The finger length is good if, like me, you have long fingers. For the first few rides there is a distinct lack of feeling due to the thickness of the gloves, but it does improve (quicker on the left due to the continual movement using the clutch). Sizing is correct to the measurements listed on the size guide.

Really good Winter Gloves

These gloves are everything I expected, keeping my hands nice and warm but thin enough on the palms to maintain feel of controls, and for the heated grips to help keep the hands warm.
They felt a bit stiff at first, but after a few hundred miles they are starting to loosen up nicely.
A great product, well made, and a 5 year warranty, what's not to like?
SBS were great to deal with, being unsure of my size I order two pairs, one Medium, the other Large, and sent back the one that didn't fit free of charge. SBS refunded within a day of receiving them. Great service.

Nice quality unusual fit

Very well made gloves. However even though I had to go up a size ( I returned the pair that according to the sizing were my size...excellent service from SBS as usual) I find them a bit tight in the wrist and too long in the fingers.. so great for narrow hands...I don't have narrow hands!

Fantastic, instant comfort incredibly warm whilst maintain good feel on the controls. These are made to a very high standard perhaps the Daytona of gloves is a good description. I'm a size L with longish fingers and these fitted perfectly, no bagging of the palm, the lining is to die for and is firmly secured so doesn't follow your fingers out. If you ride in the colder months, treat yourself yo a pair you won't regret it.

Waterproof and warm to wear apart from the finger tips, which got a bit cold after an hour in the saddle.

Bought this pair of winter gloves as I
have been impressed with the other Held gloves I own.

High quality, well made and very warm.

Took a few hours to break in and now are perfectly fitted to my hands.

Very impressed.

A 2 hour ride in 6*c and hands are still toasty.

Great winter gloves

Real quality glove.
Broke them in on 3hr 140 mile ride in 0 deg.
Spoke to SBS about size before I brought them. Hand measures 24.5 so was suggested to get a large. Was concerned about the fit as they were tight but after my initial ride they have given a little. Expect them to give a bit more over time and they will be a perfect fit. Only found the very tips of my fingers got cold after 1 and a half hours motorway riding. But dealt with the hail stones and rain absolutely fine 10/10.
Found the feel and dexterity on my Triumph Tiger 800 XCX with hand guards was really great with no problems using all the controls.

Quality winter gloves

Beautifully made (in China). Excellent fit for me(XL/10). Warm, fixed Goretex liner makes for great comfort and easy taking off. Look good. Wrist straps make very secure. Good palm and knuckle protection. Very stiff at first and need breaking in prior to riding with leather conditioner. I expect to be using these for many years. Great.

Good fit and feel

Having slim wrists its nice to have a good bit of Velcro, Held are rather stingy in this department. For warmth I give this glove 3 out of 5, waterproof 5 out of 5, fit and feel 4 out of 5. Verdict: Average Warmth (Winter 2012/13).
