Shoei SRL2 adaptor for Neotec 3 / GT Air 3

I upgraded from a Neotec 2 to a 3 as I got a bargain at the bike show. I didnt want to pay over £300 for a new sena so I thought I would use this kit to put my old set onto the new helmet. I think £18 is a bit much for what is in effect 5 bits of plastic. They are somewhat fragile and you have to be careful when fitting them but they do fit. the instructions are on the Shoei website and are not the easiest to find. When you do find them they are pants!. Having fitted the set, which is a bit fiddly, the set works fine.
The set creates quite a bulge on both sides of the helmet which on the GT AIR might not be an issue but on the Neotec I found was. When you hold the helmet to put it on you invariably catch the set, because it sticks out, and turn it on or, more often interfere with the settings. In the end I took it off because I couldn't get on with it and hopefully Santa will buy me a new unit which fits flush. Sportsbikeshop, as usual, cant be faulted.

great idea to continue to use my old comms set on the new helmet, saves money too.
The adaptor worked perfectly, albeit a bit fiddly to fit. Looks good once all fitted.
