Reviews It took a change of bikes for our reviewer to try earplugs. So has she now changed her tune on hearing protection?

Customers appreciate these ear plugs for being comfortable, easy to use, and effective at reducing harmful wind and engine noise while allowing important sounds like intercom and traffic noise to come through. They generally prefer these over traditional foam plugs, which block out all sound and can be disorienting. However, some find them tricky to fit or experience occasional loosening. Despite some minor inconveniences, the overall sentiment is positive, with multiple customers recommending them for their balance of protection and comfort.
Easy to fit into ears, they also stay firmly in place.
Used once since bought, and have found them to reduce motorbike noise and wind noise when travelling on the Motorway - love the sealed holder - happy so far.
Fit for purpose, just fit and forget. Superior to foam buds, easy to use clean and find brilliant.
Like sound block would love to have them attached by cord
Comfy and extremely effective in reducing wind noise whilst comms remain clear.
I’ve had these earplugs before and they seem to work well. Easy to put in, keep a good seal and deaden that air rush noise. Nice practical container too.
At least they are easy to put in and take out, not sure about the level of noise reduction though. Handy little metal tube they come in for storage
They certainly do reduce wind noise which is great for those long motorway trips but they do also make everything quieter not just wind noise
I was excited to get these and they are well made and fit well, but with a HJC RPHA CARBON there was still a lot of wind noise, I ride a naked , so I've gone back to standard foam ones.
Not the best tbh. Pretty average. Probably won't use. Doesn't filter the noise out sufficient enough for me but ok for short journeys, at a push. Bought as a backup only.
I have had a variety of these in the past and they are all better than nothing.
These on the other hand, are bloody good. The amount of noise it reduces is stunning whilst still being able to hear music etc and intercom and phone calls.
It must be witchcraft!
These were my first non disposable ear plugs, and while not perfect, after trying many other brands offering similar products and forking out for two sets of custom moulded ear plugs... I've come back to Auritech every time.
Comfy enough for 12 hours in the saddle/day on long tours, adequate hearing protection without killing the important sounds.
Perfect? Not really. Can be a faff to remove and could do with reducing a few more db imo.
Better than anything else I've been able to find? Overall, yes, absolutely.
Great longevity, easy to clean, handy storage case that lives on my keyring, ASBO orange in case of accidental campsite drops... super easy to find with a torch.
Bought another pair of these as my previous ones were several years old and getting a bit tired.. Excellent earplugs with good high frequency (wind noise) reduction, but still allowing me to hear engine, intercom etc. Slightly smaller size than other similar cheaper plugs which makes them easier to insert and more comfortable to wear for longer periods.
Fit easily into ear and work very well for the price you pay. Still able to hear intercom and music
Excellent. They do exactly as they describe. Good value.
Tested across Europe.
Great ear plugs for use with integral helmet communication system, comfy and great container to keep them in when not in use as I would lose them otherwise.
Much better than the disposable ones
I can't seem to get these to fit in my ear properly and they don't block out the wind noise as expected.
For now I'm using my old faithful foam plugs but will persevere and hopefully get these sussed out.
Everyone wears earplugs on their bike, right? Wrong! Having upgraded to a Suzuki GSX-R1000 with a rather loud exh...
The wind noise produced on a motorcycle can reach 105db; for spectators, levels up to 130db have been recorded! Research has proven that your hearing can be damaged with any noise level exceeding 85db, so it is essential to use hearing protection whenever possible. Developed over 20 years by leading experts, Auritech Biker Hearing Protectors are superior to traditional foam, wax and silicone earplugs. Auritech hearing protectors are precision tuned with patented ceramic filters to ensure maximum protection from dangerous levels of engine, wind and road noise. The unique filtration in these hearing protectors allows conversation, sirens and horns to remain clearly audible with no muffled effect. They are extremely comfortable to wear and suitable for all ages.
Auritech Biker Hearing Protectors are precisely tuned for optimum attenuation at the frequencies required by motorsport enthusiasts, particularly motorcyclists. The independently measured mean sound attenuation (EN352-2:2002) is 29.6db at the higher (most damaging) frequencies.
They are one size fits all. The Pinlock earplugs are supplied with two sizes in the pack.
