Pinlock Ear Plugs
Customer Product Reviews
I do about 15k miles a year on a bike and often when I got off felt like I had cotton in my ears and sometimes had tinnitus, but not many more. Really comfortable once I got used to them and do a great job of blocking out wind noise but I can still here when someone's sat in my blind spot. I would say a must buy.
To start with these are the most comfortable ear plugs I have ever used. The do a great job of attenuating the frequencies that fatigue without blocking the sounds that you need to hear. My headset was perfectly audible. I would recommend these whole heartedly.
Kinda surprised, they block wind and engine noise really well but I can hear the audio from my helmet near perfectly. Gotta say I kinda wish they didn't do quite as good of a job blocking engine noise, never stalled my bike until I tried riding with these in.
Best pair of plugs I've tried
I commute 90 miles a day, partly on the motorway. These earplugs are easy to put in and take out, cut noise remarkably well (I didn't realise how well until I rode to the shops without them), and importantly do not interfere or cause discomfort when taking your helmet off/on.
The jury's still out
I have used foam earplugs for years but now that I've started using a Sena I struggle to hear conversation, particularly over 60mph. I am using the Pinlocks with the larger of the ear buds and conversation is decidedly clearer. Trouble is, so is wind noise. I'll persevere and see if I can solve the problem.
