Lightweight, breathable and built to last — find out how the Knox Orsa OR4 textile gloves performed over 6700 miles of summer adventure riding…

Bought these couple weeks ago when the temp got too cold for my vented summer gloves - despite the heated grips - as back of hand and finger tips were suffering.
Tried on a mates Oxford gloves (different style) so was happy to order same size ( L).
Fit on palm and fingers very good but thumbs a bit long with around 1/4-1/2 inch loose at the thumb tip. Bit fiddly at times but not a major issue or deal breaker.
So far toasty down to 10C and not needed heated grips. No reason to expect they won't be warm lower. Not used in the wet yet so can't comment on waterproofing.
Soft liner a little loose and pulls out of shape when taking the gloves off. Again, not a major issue so far and doesn't affect the glove whist being worn.
Wrist strap and wide cuff velcro flap keep the draughts out and keep the glove cuff snug to fit under jacket cuff.
Protection on fingers, knuckles , thumb and scaphoid all comfortable and reassuring - I just hope I don't need to use this feature.
Would have been 5 stars if thumb was a better fit (don't know if its the gloves or my thumbs that are out of proportion to the fingers) and if the lining didn't move around.
Wanted a short glove as my gauntlet style dont always go with my riding gear. These fit well and I like the solid protection on the knuckles. These are my go to glove for the dry weather.
Good lightweight glove for the warmer dry weather. Good size gauntlet end. I do get a sore palm after wearing for a few hours. Not sure what causes it, I don't get it with other gloves
Nice narrow fit, nice soft lining under the palm, you may need a size up .
First time owning heated. It is only Autumn so they have not been tested in the depths of winter, but they have been tested in the Scottish rain. I am pleased to say they stayed dry on the inside even through a full day of wet riding.
The 3 heat settings are good. I have only really used the low and sometimes medium setting. It is not cold enough outside yet for the high setting.
The only downside is the battery life. It may be worth carrying a spare set if they are available to purchase. It would be nice if the gloves had the ability to run from internal battery or wired supply. Why do we always have to choose between? I like the convenience of being able to operate wire free, and able to jump between bikes, but it would be nice to have the option to connect them.
Time will tell how they perform over the winter but so far paired with the heated grips on my Tiger, game changer.
Ive been looking to replace an old pair of gloves but couldn't find anything that actually worked as well with touch screen on a phone thats used for sat nav.
Ive bought several that make the claim to work but in reality do not.
So far these seem to work well and are a very good fit without too much excess material at the end of the fingers.
Gloves are a little bit bulky but still perfect for dexterity .used a few times now low setting good enough to take the chill of ,max setting toasty warm will be perfect in colder weather
