HJC RPHA 1 - Garrett Gerloff

I love the look and overall quality of the helmet. The only problem which may well be just personal to me is it really pushes on the top of my head which gives me a headache after 30mins. Means I’ve now got a nearly new helmet which I can’t send back and won’t even be able to sell for a quarter of what I paid for it.

Look great. Fits great. I cant fault it! I've used hjc for years now and this is by far the best. Personally use it for track and it's miles in front of the rpha 11.

Bought this a few weeks ago and I'll be honest I have not been out on the bike with it yet. The only issue I have with this that I am having to deal with myself is the chin strap covers hinders getting a good fit as they do not let you tighten to the desired fit. If you take the cover off from the longer strap then you can get a great fit at which point the helmet is really comfortable and I am looking forward to the "dry" riding season to get some time in this lid. The weight of this helmet is perfect and far better than I expected. If you can get one I would highly recommend it.

Excellent the best helmet Iv ever owned

This really is a great helmet, wonderfully quiet, very sturdy! My only problem is that it doesnt quite fit my head shape properly and there's a bit of a pressure point on my forehead, but as that's not the fault of the helmet, I can't really mark it down. So again, wonderful helmet but be sure to make sure you get the correct size!

Lovely looking lid and seems to fit well (not had chance to take it out yet). Cardo coms kit fit really easy.
Couple of things though, the visor was extremely difficult to close and doesn't seem to seal very well on the right hand side but will only know for sure after a ride, removed visor to fit the pin lock and again on the right the retaining screw was very stiff, once refitted and after opening and closed a couple of dozen times it seemed to free up a little, maybe, could just be wishful thinking. Also the price, usually get really good prices here but this time not so much. Only 2 days after purchase I spotted the same lid at my local CMC for 75 quid less than the SBS discounted price, so I'll be shopping around a bit more next time as the prices seem be be going in the wrong direction, and especially after spending many ££££'s over the last 2 years

I am a large, however after ordering my size, it did not fit ???? so a quick call to try and swap for next size up without the hassle of the refund etc
No bother .... sent the large back again no bother left it with them xlarge sent out quick as ...
Sports bike shop put alot of online stores to shame ..period ...

I've had hjc lids for about 25 years or so now! This is by far the most impressive for safety and comfort, I've used Rpha 11's for the last few years now and this Rpha 1 feels more cushioned around my head! It's passed the latest safety standards Plus it's looks awesome! Just an heads up I normally am a medium in hjc lids, the Rpha 1 though I am a small size so try before you buy. Only downside, doesn't come with 2 visors! Just a clear visor light smoke and dark smoke for the track can be purchased from sportsbikeshop. I considered the arai rx7 evo! But once this was announced was only going to consider the latest design from hjc. Great lid! Be assured you'll be safe with this piece of kit.

Great looking helmet, love the red bull paint job, nice fit great quality.shame you can't buy a spare Pinlock insert for an additional visor though, expensive helmet but can't get spare Pinlock, one comes with the helmet but no spare available to buy.
