Merlin Alton Leather Jacket - Black

The leather on this was very soft, but still seems to be tough. I went with the size guide, and it worked for me - I got the size I need from it. There really isn't a back pad - that was in the description, and it's fine - so I pulled one from my old jacket that fits (although it's a bit snug in the pocket). All-in-all, I'm happy with this purchase.

Excellent jacket, would probably recommend ordering a size up though as it's not very giving.
The back support Forcefield Pro Lite K 008 fits perfectly, any others that are wider won't fit through the small slot in the jacket.

Size up. I had already tried a similar model from merlin, but because it has a 'slim cut' compared to others, you should definitely size up.
The leather is really soft but it dyes your clothes. After removal of the inner layer it gets a little bit discomfortable.

Great jacket after all, I would buy again.

All round quality jacket, not overly bulky, with an excellent fit and doesn't need to be broken in.

I really didn't know if I should give this jacket such a high rating but whilst it has some issues I absolutely love it. It's a very short, tight fitting jacket; nicely made and absolutely looks the part. It's very warm even without the removable lining and quite usable as a casual leather jacket when not riding. My issue with it is that during my first ride with it on the jacket got wet and dye then ran all over the shirt I was wearing, completely ruining it. After drying it out I wore it again with a different shirt in the dry and it ruined that too, the collar of the white shirt looked absolutely filthy. I hope this issue goes away in time as I love the jacket. In the meantime I now only wear it in the dry and use black shirts!

Do yourself a favour and grab it while you can! I bet it won't be in stock for much longer once people find out how amazing this jacket actually is!!!

Nice jacket looks good even better when out on the CB750, only down side when ordering definitely go up one size. I got what should have been the correct size but had to replace with the next size up.

Lovely jacket but needed a bigger size. Great shoulder elbow and back protection. Very nice soft leather.

It looks as good as in the photos but the feel and weight are amazing! Love this jacket so much that I removed the crash protections and use it as my every day jacket. You won't regret it

The jacket is exactly as expected, the thermal liner is extremely this however so don't expect to rely on it.

Great quality leather good fit. Good price,I say this was a looser fitting jacket giving room for hoodie or layers. I am a 43 inch chest and got the 44.

Very stylish and comfortable jacket. And warm. Not the best option for heavy winter btw.

Top quality, beautifully made leather jacket with removable quilted liner. 44 is a tight fit but looks great and does not restrict movement. Crash protection is comfortable. An all round excellent, stylish jacket.
