Putting the battery in to arm the device is slightly tricky but once done the unit is very easy to install on the bikes disc. I have used it continuously when locked up in my garage and every time I leave the bike when it on it. It has not sounded off once when left alone. It starts to sound when being removed but the key is eady to use so has not false alarmed while removing the unit.

cheap basic disc lock, visual deterrent, key operation a bit fiddly, not much of a screamer more like raised voice. I don't think its a 100 db a bit disappointed but it was cheap!

Bought this as added security for my bike as my neighbour had his bike stolen . Didn’t find it to be very loud but hopefully with the heavy duty chain it is a bit of a deterrent.

Good value - worth the money. It’s called a screamer and that’s what is does. Very sensitive, as a lock it’s probably ‘ok’ but it makes a lot of noise if you so much as fart near it so very effective during the day in a public place. No good at home where it goes off three times a night and annoys the neighbours.

Annoying, poor build quality

The alarm goes off every time you try to remove it, which is irritating. You can try to sneak up on it with the key, but the lock is a little awkward to use, and it always seem to set it off. Construction isn't that solid either, would not stand up to a hammer attack. The electronics in mine have started to fail after only two months, too - the switch that turns on the alarm has started breaking down. Don't bother.
