Oxford Screamer 7 Alarmed Disc Lock

Not too sensitive so tis good for accidental moves

Good value - worth the money. It’s called a screamer and that’s what is does. Very sensitive, as a lock it’s probably ‘ok’ but it makes a lot of noise if you so much as fart near it so very effective during the day in a public place. No good at home where it goes off three times a night and annoys the neighbours.

Works great, but batteries don't last very long. Easy enough to replace though.

When I first used it I struggled to unlock it since it was a different type to my old one but now it is a lot easier to open and is very good for the alarm. I do recommend

This provides a good visual deterrent to would be thieves and has a built in alarm for added security.

The lock seems pretty well made, but the alarm is most definitely not a screamer. It really should be called the Oxford Whistler

Good little disc lock for the price, the alarm is definitely a good deterrent but could be louder, however I can't complain for the price I paid, very happy!

The alarm goes off every time you try to remove it, which is irritating. You can try to sneak up on it with the key, but the lock is a little awkward to use, and it always seem to set it off. Construction isn't that solid either, would not stand up to a hammer attack. The electronics in mine have started to fail after only two months, too - the switch that turns on the alarm has started breaking down. Don't bother.

Not the loudest alarm in the world but certainly enough to draw attention to anyone trying to mess with your bike. Definitely good value for money

The Screamer is compact, I love that it fits under the seat of my Street Triple. The alarm adds an extra layer of confidence especially when parking in busy or unfamiliar places. It feels solid and the bright finish makes it easy to spot which is helpful when you are in a rush.

Perfect little deterrent with a big attitude.

Lasted me only a week, flimsy plastic cover broke off and now it won’t lock or when I can it gets locked shut kinda my own fault as I tried to move the bike and forgot the lock was on but was only a light knock. Alarm isn’t as loud as expected and constantly goes off with the wind. I would not recommend does not give me confidence leaving my bike unattended

Great value for the price and adds that extra security to your bike. Easy enough to put on and off. Just remember you have it on before you ride off!
