Mammoth Shackle Lock

While this lock I would not consider the toughest out there the value for money can't be ignored.

Fit my chain ,good strong lock ,quality at a fair price

Very strong lock and does the job my only criticism is that if you have a chunky chain it can be tight! Quality seems fine and rugged

Well priced and seems good and strong.

I may have given an excellent to this but for one Tourettes inducing session that I experienced.

Somehow, a bit of plastic had got into the lock mechanism and this was preventing the key from fully entering the lock. Swearing didn't work - much to my annoyance and the level of blue air increased exponentially.

I called SBS and there was little they could offer in the way of help and so I decided that I had to saw it off.

The trouble is the bike was locked in a garage with no power and after a couple of 'hmms' looking at my hack saw and the lock and thinking 'you're having a f***ing larf' - I thought I would probe the lock.

After some effort this worked and out popped what I can only describe as a small chad and then the key went straight in and the lock opened.

So, whilst this experience was annoying in the extreme - imagine if it was some nutsack intent on stealing my bike?

Very strong, nice padlock.

The lock is extremely well put together. Two key's so hopefully always one available. Fits on to my security chain.

Does exactly what you'd expect it to. Good sturdy lock, easy to use.

Strong, sturdy lock, very good for the price, would recommend. Just be sure that your chain will fit. The chain I have barely fits but makes it harder to get at.
