After riding for 30+yrs, always using decent mid-range helmets, I saw this on a nice discount at Leeds SBS and couldn't resist. My first premium helmet, and I'm not disappointed. The build quality & comfort are exceptional. Initially troubled by high airflow coming in under the chin, but fitting the deflector fixed that.

Bought this for my daughter good fit as shoei has different size pads to retro fit the lid the sales assistant fitted it for me and the pads were fitted in store and checked, I was unaware of this so hats off to the store!

I didn’t really want to spend £650 plus on a helmet but with discount on this lid it was over £150off.
It definitely fitted my shape head better and it could take a comms set up also.

I've always had Shark, but wanted a new lighter, quieter with the Sena integration. Feels quality, only tried it twice but it was nice and quiet and felt light on my head. A bit pricey but if you get a few years then worth it.

Best Lid I've Ever Had

This helmet is perfect for me. The fit is lovely, even with my glasses on. The liner is soft and comfortable, I didn't need to break it in, it didn't have any tight, pressure spots. The sun visor works really well. I would have liked a double D strap, but that's just personal preference.

The GT AIR 3 is a great helmet. The built-in sun visor is a game changer, now need for visors changes while out on ride out . I have so far not had any issues with misting up . The GT AIR 3 is really comfortable and light weight.

This is my third GT Air. Have moved around with different brands over the years but always liked Shoei (fits my noggin well). Comfort is great, nice space headsets and great aerodynamics (I get much less buffering with this compared to my previous helmet).
Internal sun visor is great for me as a glasses wearer as no need for bringing sunglasses.
Overall, although pricey compared to other brands, the quality is very high and personal feel it's worth the extra.

Very comfortable helmet and feels well made. I came from a HJC helmet and this feels better quality. It's quite a round shape, but that's synonymous with Shoei helmets. I did purchase the SRL-3 intercom at the same time to benefit from the VAT reduction in price. Both the helmet and intercom were price matched by Sportbikeshop, which is excellent service. Thank you.

Absolute top draw crash helmet, as you would expect from Shoei. Great clear vision from the visor providing a draft free and condensation free view. Noise levels wind and engine are very good too. Easily wearable for hours at a time with no discomfort or tight pressure points. AAAAAAA+++++++++
