Rukka Mark Thermal Set
Customer Product Reviews
Not too clingy, plenty of give for when wearing under your gear. Warmer than what I expected, worth the money I would say yes. Waist band not too tight, I'm 6'2" not slim by any means, got long arms and legs ordered the XL, I poss could've got the L. Buy another set yes I will when needed.
Perfect for all seasons
I have just bought another two sets of these base layers for a tour having had my previous set for a couple of years. During the tour the weather fluctuated between 15 and 25 C and yet the Rukka Mark Thermal Set performed flawlessly. I've also ridden in sub-zero temperatures in them. The only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is that, after many washes, the appearance starts to look a bit tatty. They still work perfectly, they just don't look as good as they once did.
My first Base Layer
The quality and fit is great but I was disappointed that this set was not as warm as the odd stuff I had been wearing (a thermal vest and an old pair of the wife's leggings). As an old rider with an old bike I avoid motorways, so at 5 or 6 degrees on country lanes riding I was getting chilly after 30 mins.
These appear to be very well made but aren't as warm as I had hoped. I also found the leggings to be a little too large (probably needed a medium) having bought the large set although the top fits well. It's also very difficult to get boot socks on over the leggings as a result.
Just the job for keeping warm
I bought this set on someone else's recommendation and it is great. I guessed at sizing and went for large as I'm a short (5ft 4") but busty/ chunky (size 16) woman. The legs and arms are slightly long but that doesn't matter as I was kept really warm by this extra base layer which I wore under Kevlar Jeans, a tshirt and Richa jacket. I'd highly recommend this set and it's fantastic value
