Motorcycle Gloves

I wanted a pair of light weight, waterproof / windproof gloves for most of the year. I have thinner summer gloves and heated winter gloves, but wanted something that offered slightly more protection than the thin summer gloves. I'd bought the Carlsbad jacket (see separate review), and wanted something that matched in, so these seemed an obvious choice.

Not had a chance to try out the waterproof abilities, but have ridden in them a few times and they are comfortable right off the bat. Protection looks to be comprehensive, but haven't had to test that thankfully. No issues with wind penetration, so riding in ~10 degree temperatures didn't require heated grips. They feel like quality items.

If it helps, my hands are 24cm in circumference (around knuckles) and 21.5 from wrist to finger tips. I ended up selecting XL, but it was really close between that size and L. L probably would have stretched to fit over time, and XL may well turn out to be a bit too loose, but the L's were just a fraction too tight across the knuckle guard and the tips of my fingers were butting the ends of the gloves. Both areas that SBS advised likely wouldn't stretch/give, so I went for XL.

As always, and again, SBS staff and service at Milton Keynes is absolutely first class. No issues ordering several sizes for "Try and Buy". Once again, manager Sue was personally incredibly helpful, but every single person at the store is friendly and helpful, and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them.
