I bought this for my BMW bikes because at the time SBS had discounted the unit considerably.
As I’ve a Lithium battery on one of the bikes it was essential I had a quality charger. The techmate is simple to use and came with the correct DIN plug adapter. Works a treat, highly recommend you buy one.

Purchased this Optimate 4 Quad to maintain the battery on my BMW 1250RT, I would normally just go with the standard method and connect the leads to the battery but didn't have the time and the messing taking the battery out of it's housing, simply plugging this charger into you 12v canbus/accessory socket is convenient with all the correct modes and settings displayed for what type of battery and of course the canbus option if you have a BMW, just plug in and walk away knowing that your battery will be fully charged and ready to ride away every time, perfect!

Optimate Can-Bus Charger

I bought this to keep the battery on my BMW R1250R topped up. This replaced my old Optimate charger which never let me down in 16 years but is not compatible with CAN-BUS. The new charger comes with the DIN connector plug to make it simple to use and set up. The staff at Birmingham gave the usual brilliant help and advise, this is my go to store for all my bike needs.

I’ve had a few battery chargers over the years but this one covers all types so you have two in one with four options to chose from. Excellent bit of kit and really easy to use. Supplied with various connection options so good for multiple bikes.

Does exactly what it says it does. I had a trickle charger from another company but it was restricted in it's usage and when I came to use it on a different bike it wasn't up to the job, hence me buying this product. I can now use it on the several bikes I have and no having to remove the wiring to change it to another bike

I’ve used Optimate since the nineties but I needed to upgrade as my bike has a Lithium battery and my old charger won’t charge it. I bought this version as my bike has the canbus socket and it saves connecting to the battery terminals. I have yet to try it on as I’m still riding and it doesn’t need charging.
