This charger keeps the battery i n top condition by cycling is continuously. My alarm is a small constant drain on the battery which can flatten it after a period of not usi g the bike - this makes sure it is always ready to go

This is the basic optimate suitable for lead acid and lithium batteries. It comes with all the connectors you would ever need to connect this to your motorcycle battery. I personally use the sae connector as it can be connected to the battery and the connector situated where it is easy to access and connect to the optimate the device itself can be fixed to a wall near the bike making everything simple to use. I will buy another as I have 2 bikes. Great product.

I prefer this charger over the oximiser(nothing wrong with the oximser I've used one for yrs) the cables are longer and it just feels more solid and well built. I'd say my only gripe is the connectors don't push in as easily but no real biggie..would definitely buy again

The smallest charger in terms of amperage in their range, but for a maintenance charger why would you need more? They've been around for donkeys years and I'm sure it will out last several bikes.
The only minor issue is I wish they would make the plugged cable removable, that way we could swap it out for a shorter one rather than having a bunch of cable that has to be coiled up and tucked out of the way.

This little device is purpose made .. and does what its meant to do at a reasonable price ... I have other trickle battery chargers for my other modes of transport but this one is specifically for motor bikes... and thats important... it will do what its meant to do .. and thats perfect and peace of mind for me ... OptiMate 1 Duo features precise microprocessor controlled charging and long term maintenance. Maintain any type of 12v lead-acid battery, sealed AGM or GEL and 12.8/13.2V lithium batteries without overcharging.
Ideal for vehicles that are seldom or seasonally used or in storage. The OptiMate maintenance program delivers only what the battery needs, never overcharges, never undercharges.

Hi I have a 2020 At with a lithium battery and have been looking at your other charger specific for lithium batteries then I saw this one that is cheaper but says it can charge others and lithium batteries. Will this charger work for Africa twin battery?
February 14, 2023We can confirm that this optimiser will be suitable for all Lithium 12.8/13.2V batteries. There's no need to change the program, as it automatically detects lead-acid, AGM or Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries.
i got a cb1000r 09 plate with a plug-in adapter on it will this plug into a 2 pin on bike
