Nice compact unit, easy to mount to the wall so it’s up out of the way. Plug in and forget which is nice and it detects which type of battery it is connected to. I actually bought two of these as my bike has a glass mat battery and my partners is a lithium ion battery and it works for both types. In the box it comes with the charge lead which is connected onto the battery and stays on the bike for maintenance charging and also a lead with two crocodile clips

Once fitted these chargers do all the battery management for you. They monitor the battery health, and only charge when necessary meaning you can plug em in and forget em knowing they are silently working intelligently in the background for weeks on end if necessary.
As always Sportsbikeshop delivered promptly and at a competitive price point.

OptiMate 1 Duo features precise microprocessor controlled charging and long term maintenance. Maintain any type of 12v lead-acid battery, sealed AGM or GEL and 12.8/13.2V lithium batteries without overcharging.
Ideal for vehicles that are seldom or seasonally used or in storage. The OptiMate maintenance program delivers only what the battery needs, never overcharges, never undercharges.

Hi I have a 2020 At with a lithium battery and have been looking at your other charger specific for lithium batteries then I saw this one that is cheaper but says it can charge others and lithium batteries. Will this charger work for Africa twin battery?
February 14, 2023We can confirm that this optimiser will be suitable for all Lithium 12.8/13.2V batteries. There's no need to change the program, as it automatically detects lead-acid, AGM or Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries.
i got a cb1000r 09 plate with a plug-in adapter on it will this plug into a 2 pin on bike
