Great no fuss 0ptimiser easy to install and simple to use. Comes with two connector leads for charging your battery on or off your motorcycle. Takes minutes to connect and just plug in for peace of mind while your motorcycle is not being riden, and cheaper than a replacement battery.

First time flat battery, brought the bike back to

After a feeble attempt at bump starting my bike, I gave up and purchased one of these. Got me back on the road, one thing I would suggest though is get a multimeter to check how bad your battery is discharged (got a cheap one from the local Halfords). According to the OptiMate manual my battery was not holding charge (LED 2 and 3 flashing in turn, which would reset back after a while to LED 2 flashing then repeat) which almost made me buy a new battery thinking my battery was toast, however after checking with the multimeter I could see the voltage slowly edging up (was flat at around 7 volts), left it connected overnight and in the morning it was finally getting to the solid LED 3 stage where it's fully charged and in maintenance mode.

Haven't been able to ride due to medical issues and with winter approaching went with the optimate. Initial impressions are good, easy to fit and seems to have sorted the battery out. As always excellent service from Sportsbikeshop at a really competitive price.

November 4, 2024This optimiser is suitable for all Lithium 12.8/13.2V batteries. There's also no need to change the program, as it will automatically detect the correct type of battery it's connected to.
Hi I have a 2020 At with a lithium battery and have been looking at your other charger specific for lithium batteries then I saw this one that is cheaper but says it can charge others and lithium batteries. Will this charger work for Africa twin battery?
February 14, 2023We can confirm that this optimiser will be suitable for all Lithium 12.8/13.2V batteries. There's no need to change the program, as it automatically detects lead-acid, AGM or Lithium (LiFePO4) batteries.
i got a cb1000r 09 plate with a plug-in adapter on it will this plug into a 2 pin on bike
