Read the manual because this charger is for both lithium ion and lead batteries. Set the settings for the lithium battery and connect the charger to the battery. Simple. After charging, light shows you how much charge battery can hold. Excellent addition and best price from SBS.

Pork mate to the rescue! Had an aging battery that needed some TLC, and my generic maintainer just wasn't cutting it. This has not only brought the battery back from the dead, but diagnosed the issue it was having and got to work prolonging its life. I know I can rely on this brand.

I'd left my Carpuride connected to battery for 3 to 4 weeks and I'm blaming that for draining it down. The Optimate recovered the battery and got it back up to full charge within a few hours. Did exactly what it was designed to do!

Easy charging the Vespa for winter

My new Vespa GTS super rs22 125 wasn't get much of a ride out what with the gritting and then the wet weather. The battery is under the floor and I decided to attach the permanent leads with the sealed cable in the footwell. It worked a treat and in a couple of hours a big green tick to say it was back up to. Simple instructions and easy to attach it will get the battery through winter when riding is not always possible. Delighted and nolonger worried that the battery will fail.

Works great. Not had an optimate before and found the multitude of lights a bit confusing so had to keep checking the manual. A separate wall bracket would be good like the oximiser. Overall seems solid though.

This is one of those things that just works and works brilliantly. I've got 2 now to work my 2 bikes and you just plug them in and that's it. Never had any issues. Can't recommend them enough. Will charge different types of batteries. Can attach to wall, hang on handlebar. Brilliant.

Anyone I have spoken to about optimates and own one mentioned that they keep working on and on and on and just refuse to break. so far so good, although I wish there was a wee digital screen on them to see a bit more information about the current state of the batter

OptiMate 4 Quad Program is the ultimate battery charger for the high technology 12V / 12.8V battery in your adventure, touring, cruiser or performance motorcycle, or ATV. Tests before and after charging and can recover a dead flat lead-acid and lithium (LiFePO4) battery from as low as 0.5V
Supplied with a hanging hook and two interchangeable connection sets, one with clamps for bench charging, and the other with in-line protection fuse and eyelet terminals for permanent attachment to in-vehicle battery to allow easy reconnection of charger when necessary.
