Scottoiler xSystem 3.0+ Standard Temp - Blue

Easy to fit, wired into switched power wire.
Just come back from the NC500, 1664 miles round trip and it didn’t miss a beat, I will be fitting the dual feed in the future as I’m not sure enough oil got to the inside of the chain.
But impressed with the ease of use.

I bought this to avoid cutting into any vacuum lines on my new TS800. Unfortunately it was too large to fit anywhere sensible without the controls facing away and I know I would forget to turn it off. I’m still contemplating a vacuum model meanwhile as I have an X ring chain that needs less maintenance I will persevere with a can of lube.

I do love the idea of scottoilers, however, I have had a few vSystems that over time they seem to fail (for me anyway, even after a good clean).
and when mine failed, you only miss it when you haven't got it.
Then you go back to the manual spraying of the chain, so I decided to look at the alternatives, and came across this system.
Very easy to install and setup, the only difficult thing was to find a place for it.
The bluetooth has some issues, and I know Scottoiler are currently working on fixes, but this doesn't stop you configuring it and using it.
very pleased with the system so far and ease of use.

I have had Scottoilers on every one my bikes since 2014 and would not be without them. They are easy to fit and top up / maintain, and will save you carrying and spraying on of chain oil. It really comes into its own on long tours, one less messy thing to worry about. The Scottoiler keeps my chains well lubricated, and they really do last a lot longer than with sticky chain sprays that attract dust and dirt, which basically work like grinding /sanding paste .
On a side note: If for some reason you really do need to contact the customer service team, (e.g. is this the right one for your bike?) they are super helpful.

Have used Scottoilers on most of my bikes over the years , primarily vacuum type. The X system is so easy to install and prime. Flow setting is great with a number of presets adjustable at the tap of a button and no battery drain as the chip in the oiler operates the system only when the bike is running , even remembers your previous setting if disconnected from the battery. This oiler is well worth the extra wedge , providing long lasting , clean chain maintenance, highly recommend this piece of kit.

Fitted in about 40 mins taking time to mount reservoir and oiler in a good location . Give some thought to this before you start. Scottoiler site helps with specific makes and models. Have used on previous bikes and well worth it. Gives consistant continuous chain lube. Ive never had to renew chain/sprockets after fitting. 20.000 miles on Triumph 1200 only had to adjust chain twice. NOTE use proper scottoiler oil or it will just oil the back of your bike !

Easy to fit and does a great job.

Have used Scotoilers over many years and on many bikes. Have seen in excess of 25k miles on original chain and sprockets. Some say if you don't enjoy lubing your chain your not a proper biker, that's like saying neither are those that ride shaft drive bikes ( yes Have owned one of those as well). To me owning a motorbike is about riding it as much as possible and not having to spend 1hr + on a regular basis to thoroughly clean the lube the chain means more time riding. Scottoiler does this well. Only gave 4/5 as package damaged and screwcap attachment for oil filling tube was missing from package. Fortunately I had a spare from one of my older Scottoilers. Currently using x model which works when bike is moving. Seems to work well. Biggest challenge is connecting unit and routing lube tube. Strongly recommend taking your time with this step as it reduces problems further on down the line

Bought a Scottoiler 2 from Sportbikeshop early spring. It did lube the chain but also the rear wheel and swingarm as it leaked more oil out out of the clear panels in the side than the chain lube nozzle itself. Should have sent it back to them but life got in the way. Couldn't face cleaning and lubing the chain every few days (72 mile daily commute round trip) so purchased a mk3. Usual super efficient purchase and delivery from Sportsbikeshop. As for the Scottoiler so far so good but I check it after every trip.

Bought this to replace an e-system that had broken after 7 years. Fitting was quite easy although the instructions could do with some more words to explain the images. So far it seems to be working well.

This new unit is so much easier to install than the old ones. No vacuum tube required so along with a 'shorter' body makes fitment on sports bikes a breeze. Priming at the push of a button, then set feed rate and job done. This later unit even remembers settings if wired through ignition so no permanent supply needed. Switched via ignition also prevents unit dispensing oil if bike being recovered, or you're on a ferry.

Had the first scottoiler that came out which was a simple but very effective system at the time.
But the scottoiler xsystem 3.0 is the best yet, very easy to fit and very easy to set up just click how many drips per minute you want and check there is no excess all over you back wheel, keeps you chain lubricated while on the long rides where a dry chain can become a problem this system really helps, though good chain maintenance is key to chain life, no system will eliminate proper chain maintenance But this really helps.

It's very cheap and is easy to refill, with no mess adapter tube.

It's also just a simple connection to your bike battery.

You can easily remove or move it to another bike. The device is just held on with cable ties, so if you need to move it you can.

It comes with one tube of oil and replacement tubs are cheap and readily available on sportsbikeshop's website

Cant recommend sportsbikeshop enough to people. Ordered this on a weekday before 4pm the package arrived via DPD the very next day!!! Amazing service as always

Fitted numerous models of Scottoiler over many years and multiple bikes but this latest x system electronic version is by far the best and well worth the money. Easy to fit, no cutting of any hoses for vacuums etc and straight spade fit to battery and away you go. Why pay a fortune for a new bike and fail to fit this essential piece of gear. Even got £50 knocked off the price by Sportsbikeshop as a Valentines Day discount. Brilliant win!
