The best add on for my bike has been the scottoiler. I used to get 15k from a chain. I've since commuted, toured and tracked 40k and I'm just ready for a new one.

Scott oil with the oiler system best addition to my bike 29000 mls and never needed to retension chain between fresh tyres . The oil clings on the chain just enough .

Scottoiler Standard Blue Chain Oil
- Scottoiler Blue Oil is the first, traditional Scottoil
- It should be used in average daily temperatures of 0-30°C (32°F-86°F)
- Suitable for most European countries and North America
Scottoil Standard Blue is an oil specifically blended for use with Scottoiler chain lube systems in normal average temparatures. Scottoil Blue is specially formulated to give the user great lubrication properties, ensuring the chain is consistently oiled throughout your ride. Friction modifiers are present to ensure that no wear comes of using Scottoil, with tack-additives included to leave no sticky build up from the road on your chain.
Approximate consumption
125ml is enough for 2,500miles of riding
250ml is enough for 5,000 miles of riding
500ml is enough for 10,000miles of riding
