MOTOAIRBAG MAB Quick Release Kit

Definitely worth buying for motoairbag. So much easter to use with gloves especially when getting off the bike

Worth the £30. Solidly built but then again it has to be for its function. Much easier to use than the carabiner which is supplied with either the MotoAirbag V4 or M1 vests. Can be easily opened and closed wearing spring/summer gloves although may be a bit tricky with heavy duty winter ones. It’s about the same footprint as the carabiner and although heavier you don’t feel it hanging about 4 inches from the bottom of the MotoAirbag 44 vest when off the bike. SBS fitted mine at the Preston store which was very helpful as it’s a bit fiddly swapping out the already fiitted carabiner to the vest tether.

Perhaps this should have been supplied as part of the original Motorairbag MAB v4, given its purchase price.
Anyway, as to kit itself was a bit fiddly to fit to lanyard, until it dawned on me, when the loop of the lanyard is placed on the pin, it ever so slightly splays the arms of the quick release mechanism.
This makes alignment and fittement of the end pieces and domed nuts a bit tricky.
Simple answer just gently squeeze the splayed arms and it is then such and easy fix. D'oh :-)

Nice idea and the Clip Itself looks ok. The problem was trying to attach it to the cord. I could not get it to fit and gave up, using the Carabina which works easy enough. Save your money and don't buy it....
