Nice jacket does what it's supposed to keeping you nice and cool on hot days, blue colour hopefully helps half blind car drivers see me easier. Only let down by no back protector as standard, but one from another jacket fitted.
The process of getting the Jacket is so straightforward and the product is top notch. Also, the price is very reasonable for anyone who's got a tight budget and want a quality product.
Nice lightweight jacket with plenty of vents to keep you cool even in the high 20C's,but feel safe with decent armor. It's fit it slightly on the tight and small side, I'm usually a large but the XL is a much better fit for me, unless you want skin tight go a size up. Very good value compared to other brands. Well made, looks like it will last.
I originally purchased one of these jackets for last summer for which it was perfect. But I realised with a slim fitting Rab down jacket underneath it was great for autumn and spring riding as well. Unfortunately in April I took a bit of a tumble but the jacket armour did a great job and although it was torn in a few places I suffered no cuts or bruises.
I have now purchased another one but in Brown which is stylish enough to wear as a smart jacket at anytime and at a fantastic price - what's not to like?
After riding in 44 degrees last year in Sicily wearing an Oxford Mondial, I wanted something that would provide more ventilation with no layers for the dry and the heat. Morocco this year, just as hot and I am amazed at the comfort of this Rev'it Eclipse. Although it comes without a back protector, the Mondial pad transfers neatly into the space provided in the Eclipse. It is light, well constructed, easy zip and ample stowage for normal items carried. The mesh enables a good flow of ventilation in appropriate areas allowing body cooling. I have the brown which is a good neat fit and actually could be used as a casual jacket when not riding. Very impressed.
Bought this jacket for the summer, really well made with just enough pockets all with closures zip and Velcro so nothing falls out when riding.
Nice and lightweight with enough ventilation for hot weather riding while giving protection in all the right places
Zips are sturdy and look like they will last.
Very pleased with my purchase and of course the usual excellent service from sportsbikeshop.
Fits snug, not much more but ventilation, light colour helps in reducing heat when stationary.
Size wise, hmm for L, sleeves' and jacket length are perfect but a bit tight around body and hands. The XL size, as for me wearing other brands in XL, this one is on the loose side with too long sleeves.
Lovely jacket, with mesh panels to keep you cool in warm weather but also offers protection via the armour, there is a pocket for back protector, but I would order the next size up from what you normally wear as they are quite a snug fit. Over all very pleased with the jacket. As usual delivery and service from sportsbikeshop was fantastic.
I have been looking for a lightweight comfortable summer jacket for a while. This one ticked almost all the boxes. Great fit, comfortable and stylish. The jacket is also good, quality and a good price compared to most. A zipped inside phone pocket would be good but this is just being picky!
Good fit, no back protector. I put one in myself, value for money.
Not actually worn this jacket yet as have purchased ready for the summer but on inspection it feels good quality and decent material with armour that actually sits in the right places and not too obtrusive..
Looking forward to trying it out in the warmer weather as the ventilation looks pretty good.
This is the 2nd jacket I have bought and the quality and service is next to none. This shop will always be my first stop if I require further clothing. It is a beautiful colour very light weight and of exceptional quality.
Lightweight, will be perfect for hot summer riding. not tried out yet as its still baltic!
I am very pleased with my purchase of a Rev'it Eclipse textile jacket. Whilst I have just purchased the jacket, I haven't had the opportunity to use it during warm weather yet. That said, when wearing it, it feels very light, and has breathable fine mesh panels along with built in protection. If you want to wear more than a base layer under the jacket, would suggest getting the next size up. Wearing with just a base layer the fit was perfect, well for me anyway. Excellent product and value for the money.
I've purchased this prior to riding in Morocco in July, so I'm very pleased with the mesh jacket construction, and the elbow/shoulder pads seem fine and there is space for the back protector which I can transfer from my RST jacket.
I wanted a Jacket to wear in the summer over my knox protector. Bought extra large to start with as I knew I needed extra space. Howver it was too big so bought a smaller size and sent the larger one back. Sportsbikeshop. refunded the money for the first one super quick. Very happy
Not worn on bike yet, but it'll do what is says on the tag.
180cm tall, 100 cm chest and 81 cm waist. M fits well. Bit baggy on stomach, but for those who can't keep themselves in shape I suppose. S was too tight.
Looking forward to using it when weather warmer. Dark blue looks good.
Great quality, at a reduced price of just £99 !
Although the jacket does not come with a back protector there is a pocket built into it to add one if you wish.
Although my chest measurements required me to order a Small size,
I read some of the reviews before I made my order and some said the jacket could be tight, so I ordered medium and it fits perfectly. So be aware you may need to order your next size up ?
Very pleased with my purchase
