Schuberth C5 - Gloss White

Night and day difference from my old Nolan n87 both in comfort and quietness. Its so quiet that i can run without earplugs and have the sena turned down low with no wind noise interference. My old Nolan used to hurt my ears after a coulple of hours and the fit of this schubert is far better for my head shape. Experienced no issues that other users have reported, can have the visor open at 70mph and the modular face is a godsend for us spectacle wearers. Very pleased with this healmet

I have tried several helmets in flip-up space. Ordered a LS2 XXXL which stated up to 66cm well needless to say it felt smaller than a 63cm helmet. This helmet is comfortable does not lie about size :-D. Loads of features and so easy to enable the comms. Really happy with it. Did a 12 hr day doing marshalling and it was great experience.

always like a tight comfy fitting helmet . The C5 I bought is that and fitted the intercom system was a dawdle.....recommend the C5 ...noise reduction is good .... ty

I bought this helmet 9 months ago and it is a great fit. Sadly, the internal chin bar cover fractured causing additional wind noise to enter. This is the fourth Schuberth helmet I have owned and it is also the noisiest even before the failure occurred. For an expensive and supposedly top notch helmet I feel quite disappointed. Top marks to Sportsbike shop for turning the repair around so quickly and efficiently. I will however consider another brand also beginning with S when the replacement is due.

Great helmet, so much tech for one helmet. Store staff went through correct use of all of it in store and ensured helmet was a great fit. Sportsbikeshop so helpful and have great stock.

This is a quality product and does extremely well at excelling in every aspect of what a helmet should be. And that includes how the flip front works.

It’s a great fit, but I am pleased that tried it on in the shop before ordering, as i needed 1 size smaller than with an Arai helmet.
The integrated intercom was also purchased, so together it was a bit of a saving.

Purchased this helmet for my wife and myself after friend who is a bike cop recommended it. Extremely quiet, well ventilated and the comms unit easy to fit. Very happy with this purchase.

Having to wear glasses now became a pain with my HJC and the Schuberth makes life a lot easier this respect. The quality is obvious, good peripheral vision and comfortable. I found the chin strap awkward at first but soon got used to it; I don’t find it any quieter than the HJC but it’s good enough. Very nice helmet.

After owning a Schuberth C3 helmet for several years, I’m pleased to say that the C5 is even better. Top quality!

I needed a new helmet and the fit of this helmet from the get go was just perfect. That combined with the new SC Edge Cardo unit that had just been released certainly swayed my spending budget. The Neotec 3 was a good fit also but with Sena being the only option for integrated comms, well your loss Shoei! The built in speakers are fantastic. The colour and design is really nice, with a shiny helmet preferred to a matt black one. Ventilation is perfect giving more than adequate airflow where needed and easily operated with a gloved hand. Opening, closing, and ratchet strap works flawlessly. Visor removal is simplistic. I will note that the internal shaded flip down sun visor could be bettered with another 10mm+ travel allowing it to travel down further but doesn’t stop its effectiveness, just my thoughts. Again another painless and pleasurable service from the Glasgow branch.

Probably one of the best helmets that I have used. It fits well straight out of the box, comfortable to wear and nice a quiet, good ventilation and a clear view.

I found this to be a very good helmet - practical, comfortable to wear, and VERY quiet - its significantly quieter than the C3, which was itself a quiet helmet. This is my 2nd C5, as I crash tested my previous one in a major accident! The helmet was very good and protected my head very well, suffering some hefty scrapes along the top.

Great helmet in terms of fit and build quality and noise reduction, I can say it’s the most premium I’ve ever owned, however there are a few things I think shouldn’t be the case when you buy a helmet that costs this much

1. The visor steams up, even with the pre-installed Pinlock
2. The internal sun visor can’t be used with the visor down, as it doesn’t have an anti-fog coating and fogs up in a matter of minutes
3. I got this with the SC Edge comms unit, which is fairly easy to install, however I struggled to pair the remote with the unit, and it’s still not paired as at the time of posting this comment. I just get a flashing red light and it never pairs. The Schuberth user manual is quite useless in resolving this issue as the section that shows how to pair the units shows a pointless graphic that doesn’t explain much. Not sure if the SC2/Sena unit does this too
4. The Schuberth app is the worst designed app ever and doesn’t work very well, if at all. Luckily, you can use the comms unit with the Cardo connect app
