Advice & Guides Give your fingers a treat with the right pair of winter gloves...

I was really disappointed with these gloves. I started using them in early 2025, and while they technically warm up, the heat is concentrated in just one spot, leaving my fingers cold. The batteries are awkwardly placed and restrict movement, which makes them uncomfortable to wear. Even on the highest setting, the gloves only feel lukewarm.
Maybe I just got a bad pair, and others may have had better experiences — but for me, they’ve been underwhelming. This winter I added handlebar muffs instead, and they’ve worked far better than these heated gloves.
Sizing is also off. I ordered a large, but the gloves are bulky and my fingertips felt overly roomy. On the plus side, they do look nice and offer protection where it matters — but overall, they didn’t live up to expectations.
Exactly what I wanted, if you can go try a pair in store, go do so, these gloves run small in size. They're warm but heat up only the back of the hand.
I don't particularly like the gators as they are tight makes it difficult to put on. Need to turn inside out then roll back. If I forget than it is a faff.
The heat output is average for a battery unit.
But it was the cheapest so I got what I paid for.
I've not tried them in really cold temperatures yet but I have in wind and rain. They stay warm and dry and easy to use.
They are a bit big and bulky and can be hard to use zips. The battery is in the top of the cuff, so getting your jacket sleeve over can be problem but there is an elasticated in sleave that prevents water running into the glove.
Overall very happy with them.
The Ion gloves are quite a nice pair. The construction feels pretty robust without being stiff. The glove itself is already nice and warm, the heating element helps to keep your hands comfortable on cold days. I haven't fully tested the limits of the gloves but they worked well on a -2C day on the lowest setting, keeping the worst of the cold out and sensation in my fingers.
The waterproofing of the gloves seems good, however the cuffs are very bulky with the battery installed which made tucking them into my jacket impossible, leading to water running down my sleeves into the gloves on a very rainy commute, still stayed warm though.
Well made product, slightly long in the fingers, but then maybe mine are a bit short! Very effective heating, nice and toasty in these cold mornings.
