Pinlock and visor replacement

My visor had become very blurry and was not easy to see through in wet conditions. I decided to order a new one through the sportsbikeshop as they sell the genuine shoei replacements, on the visors arrival I realised that the original pinlock was also part of the problem so popped into my local store and the helpful staff fitted a new one as they do this all the time and fitted it there and then. My visor is now crystal clear thanks to a great service from the sportsbikeshop many thanks !!!!!

I recently purchased a replacement shoei visor which I received promptly but soon realised I had bought the wrong one when it didn't fit i returned it to the Bristol store who exchanged it for the correct one even with the packaging broken
Excellent service from Bristol store as always that's why sportsbikeshop is the only store I will use for product range , customer service & value for money

Had to replace my year old pinlock as it developed small spots inside the coating. I beleive this was due to moisture ingress during a wet summer ride last year. Good price and fast delivery.

Decided to treat my old Shoei GT Air 1 to a new visor and pinlock. This coupled with the OEM Shoei visor does the business and prevents fogging up on these cold mornings. My previous one lasted years with the odd bit of cleaning. Fast delivery and item was well packaged.

February 6, 2018The Pinlock does not have DKS on the packaging at all. It says "Pinlock Evo" for CW-1, CNS-1 and CWR-1.
which is the best Pinlock for XR1100?
November 9, 2013The Shoei XR1100 uses a CW-1 Pinlock insert; the 'best' would depend on your personal preference and the weather conditions you require it for. i.e. for predominantly sunny weather a tinted insert would be best, but for low light weather a clear insert would be best suited.
