TecMate OptiMate 2 Duo Dual Bank

I needed another maintenance charger, having recently enlarged the family fleet with the purchase of a 125 for my son. Having already got two Optimate trickle chargers, and the rest of my bikes fitted with their connection leads, it wasn’t so much a case of which brand to buy, but which model. After a bit of prevarication, I decided to bite the bullet and chose the dual bank version of the 2 Duo. It has a higher charging rate than my current Optimate 3 ones do, and has the bonus of being able to charge two batteries simultaneously while only using one plug socket. Easy wall mounting is a bonus. It appears to be working well, and my garage is a little tidier than it was.

Only had one bike in the garage and bought a Dual Charger then convinced the wife I had to buy another bike to go with the charger. Awesome Man maths!
Great chargers.

I've had Optimates for many years, they are very reliable. This one means I can now maintain two bikes at the same time, instead of having to swap round my old charger all the time.
