A great product
Good quality and reliable product at a very reasonable price for what you get!

Does exactly as you'd expect and well made solid piece of kit. Great price at SBS and cheaper than a Triumph branded Optimate 3! Usual great service from SBS.

After consulting Sportsbikeshop online as to the best charger to get for my BMW R 1220 R with the added flexibility of charging the cars, the Optimate 4 was recommended. I also purchased the lead for the din plug on the BMW. All works well. Just be aware that if you are using the charger for the cars, it will take hours to bring a fairly flat car battery up to charge. Great advice on line and great service as usual from Sportsbikeshop.

High quality product well packaged with clear instructions Saved a battery and recharged to full strength Amazing normally I would have thrown battery away and bought new but this charger lives up to all its claims

Does what it says on the tin. Indicator lights take a bit of getting used to, but doesn't take long to switch thinking. Good cable lengths will meet most people's needs. Canbus switch feature is a useful addition. Strong enough for the car also, but will take a bit longer than a dedicated car charger due to lower Amps.

I already have an Optimate 4 so I knew how good it would be. SBS price was competitive as always and their service is second to none. The item is the best out there, just plug it in and forget it and if you have a BMW that's can bus ready it's almost essential ( though you will need an extra adaptor lead). All in all, very satisfied.

The optional din cable was sooo expensive, so I got one elsewhere. But it's nice to be able to use the din socket to charge the battery, it saves taking the seat off to access the battery.

Got this to try and repair and maintain a year old Yausa battery that had been playing up on my Africa Twin, unfortunately it was too far gone, but working great on the replacement battery I got

Bought this to keep my new tiger 1200 topped up. I'm charging through the front din socket, so I also bought an extra lead for that. Seems to be doing its thing. Great service from spotsbikeshop

Already have an older model for a bike,2nd bike purchase warranted another charger. Went for this model as it is can bus capable so just in case any future bikes have it I'm sorted. Also the excellent price of SBS means you can get a better model without blowing the budget! Super fast delivery as always. Excellent.
