Oxford Boss Disc Lock

This is the second Oxford Boss lock I’ve bought. They’re solid and feel well made. Highly visible colours aswell which helps in deterring would be thieves. They also qualify as a discount for my bike insurance.

Good sturdy lock, fits well over brake disc and chains

Very pleased with this lock. It has a good solid feel to it and the bright colour provides a visual deterrent. Feels very secure when in place.

Not the most sophisticated lock on the market but probably the most economic I've found without compromising on efficiency. Small and light enough to carry on the bike and fits the disc brake on my trike perfectly.

Received wisdom has it that there is no such thing as perfect security. That said, what can be done is to either deter criminals in the first place or buy time should they decide to try to steal your bike. This disc lock is Sold Secure Gold and so should withstand most attacks - but perhaps not cordless angle grinders. "Professional" thieves will stop at nothing anyway, but this lock ought to be good enough to thwart most of those planning to take your bike. It's solid, heavy for its size, easy to see and carry and offers a decent level of protection. And an epic discount from SBS...

Not sure about the quality without trying to cut it.

Good and bright yellow so ratters can see it's on bike it's a good deterrent to keep ratters away

Bought it for my wife (so I could keep her in the kitchen) only joking but it was for her to use on her bike
It’s easy enough to carry and can be used as a disc lock or it can be used as a padlock to lock a chain or Cable
I’ve not attacked it with a grinder but it looks like it will hold up to most attempted theft relatively well

It works perfectly for the price and it is an amazing deterrent.

Looks and feels really good and at the discount price Sportsbike shop had it - a bargain.
Easy to use and feels secure (though I haven't attacked it with an angle grinder!).
