Shoei Neotec 3 - Black

Choose 7 differant flip helmets to try on at my local store in Bristol and the Shoei was by far the best fitment for me, coupled with the differant pad sizes they offer not just in cheek pad sizes but the top as well which enables a near as dam it perfect fit. The help and assistance from Spencer and Declan was 1st class.

Light comfortable and quiet and the flip up front make summer riding that bit more pleasurable. This is my second Neotec 3, I have the Matt black one also. The integrated Sena intercom is a plus as there are no bulky units stuck to the side of the helmet, all buttons are pretty much flush. Venting is perhaps not 100% but I’m just being picky now. Would definitely recommend this helment.

I bought this to replace my first gen Neotec, and as I've been using an Arai for the last 12 months or so. I found the Arai to be too tight, and I guess just not great for my head shape. Getting the new Neotec 3 really highlights the issues with the Arai. This is very comfortable, a great fit and I love the improvements in noise reduction compared to my old one. The one thing I wasn't expecting, was that I would have to replace my Sena comms unit as it won't fit this helmet. I ended up having to order a Cardo unit that integrates into the helmet. It fits great, is super clear etc, but as I hadn't done enough research about this I didn't order at the time I purchased the helmet so missed out on the available discount from Sportsbikeshop.

Recommended to me by friends and I'm extremely pleased with the Shoei neotec 3, it's comfortable, easy to open and can be used in the open position, wind noise is good too. Had the Cardo comms fitted in store by the helpful friendly staff at Sportsbikeshop in Harlow

Comfortable, high quality helmet, ventilation better than Neotec2. SBS service very good, including changing cheek pads for best fit.

A couple of years ago I’d been encouraged to buy a Shark by a rival store just down the road. I’ve never got on with the helmet. So, I went to SBS instead. I’d initially ordered a couple of other brands of flip front to try, but when I saw this Neotec on sale for considerably less than RRP I just had to try it. Perfect fit for my head, and felt such high quality compared to the other brands I tried. I just had to have it. The Assistant at Norwich was brilliant and full of good advice.

Time for a new helmet, current one is so uncomfortable. Trip to Preston SBS.. Chose a Shoei for my better half so, Shoei for me too. Right away the stock large was so comfortable but, why not take advantage of the custom fitting service. Again the staff where so helpful, shout out for Tom and Morgan, nothing was too much trouble changing pads to get the correct fit. Now the helmet fits properly it is so much quieter than my last one (not Shoei). Very pleased with it.
Why did we wait so long...

My better half needed a new helmet, her current one was very uncomfortable on long rides. I suggested Shoei as they offer a custom fitting service. A trip to Preston SBS was needed.
As always the staff are super helpful, we made a purchase and booked a custom fitting. The custom fitting highlighted that the next shell size was a better fit with added padding in specific spots. Yes these helmets are not cheap, but comfort is as important as safety.

This helmet is amazing. A beautiful fit, loads of useful features and very easy to put on and take off.
