A brilliant flip lid helmet. Very happy with the fit and the features. The clear visor is very stiff to open though, which isn’t a problem but is worth knowing about. The fit is great, but I took it to get the Shoei Personal Fitting System done. Which is so worth it. The off the shelf liners are overpriced and aren’t worth it (hence the 4 stars). if you can get the PFS done. It’s an expensive helmet at full price though (another reason for 4 stars and not 5).

Great quality paint, easy to remove padding to fit Senna comes, easy to operate sun visor, air vents and flip up.
Only thing I don't like is the left hand side strap that the rachet fits into. Fiddly as its short and you have to refit it into the comfort strap before putting it on.

Excellent Modular helmet

I last tried the Neotec 2 and felt the mechanism didnt feel secure enough. Recently came back as wanted to go touring again and with having glasses its a pain to keep removing your helmet. First thing I noticed was a significant reduction in wind noise, ok its not silent but a big improvement over my previous helmets. Latch is easy to use and the comms work great.

This is by far the most comfortable helmet I have ever had (and I have been riding 37 years). It’s super soft inside and fits perfectly. I also have the Senna communication system fitted and that works fabulously when my husband and I are riding out on separate bikes. Good ventilation, nice buckle - can’t fault it. Thanks Shoei.

I have had the Neotec for years and recently purchased the Neotec 3. I have not been disappointed. It just feels good. I tried on so many other brands but the Shoei fits my head perfectly.

It s a Shoei what more do you need to know! It s so comfy, quiet for a flip front and so easy to wear glasses with.
Really sturdy mechanism and the visor stays where you want it.
Sunvisor is a great depth and does a good job.
I love the micrometic fastening, first time I ve had one and much prefer it over the old style one.
Again fantastic service from SBS, can t fault them for price and availability.
Matches my bike perfectly, buy one you won t be disappointed!
I m lucky I only live 10 minutes away or am I!

This helmet is not cheap even at the sale price but is worth the money for the excellent quality and glossy, hi-vis finish. It is also pretty quiet. The head vent is very effective but adds noise.

I like the fact I could change the check pads for a different size some times find undoing the helmet difficult as a lease mechanism for the strap is very close to the padding I’m sure this will get easier as I get used to it
