Protective, comfortable and great value

Needed new boots for road riding, and was looking at circa. £300 spend, so these boots initially weren't on the radar. However, having tried loads of boots on at SBS Boston I tried these and was stunned how comfortable they were, and with an excellent protection rating (all 2s). A few months in and they are brilliant - very comfortable to ride in, and fine to walk in, and so far waterproof in the little rain I've experienced, as expected. I take UK10 and found size 45 great. Not exactly things of beauty, but highly functional, and feel protective. Price was excellent I thought, and great value being gtex. Fit fine under my riding jeans (straight leg) as well my textiles.

I've had a pair of the Alpinestars Drystar boots, for the last five years & 30+k miles and never once had a wet foot. I needed new boots for my 2025 Euro tour (As my GS1250 foot pegs had fully punctured the sole over this period) and so have bought the slightly cheaper Gore-Tex version lets hope??..

They fit true to size in my experience and are really comfy. Easy to get on and off and having worn race boots for all of my riding years intense boots that have steered me away from my usual brand and make which speaks for itself. Good value for money and just work well.

Excellent value and fully waterproof

I bought these to replace the same pair I've had for 10 years which I've worn every day on my 18 mile commute each way to work all year round. Only after 7 or 8 years did they start to let a little water in around the toes in heavy rain.
The fit is good and they are comfortable to walk in. The new boots are a bit stiff but my old pair softened up nicely over time without compromising safety. I am always sceptical about zip closures, especially on boots but I had no issues in 10 years although I do take care when doing them up and undoing them.
They are warm enough in winter in sub zero temperature, at least for the distance I do, and not too hot for the height of summer. I think they must be rhe best value Goretex boots available.

I have a pair of similar summer track boots but since buying these they stay in the cupboard on all but the very hottest days.
I ride all year in everything except snow and these boots are fantastic for keeping your feet warm and dry.

Nice sturdy boot. Comfy and plenty of room in them. I have quite a wide foot and these fit me fine. Had Alpinestars in the past and they didn`t last very long. Hope these last longer as they feel quality.

Circa 2yrs usage with these commuting 10months of the year. These are the 1st boots I've owned in 30yrs of riding which are completely waterproof, excellent, comfortable, warm, nice to walk in. Overall great.

Not the weather, to tell how waterproof these boots may be, as yet. However, I can feel the sole plate through mine and this is definitely not a comfortable feeling. Glad I don't need to walk, too far in them.

Well made quality leather boots. Great fit lovely and comfy. No pressure on toes or sides. Haven't tested waterproofing yet but confident they'll do the job. Velcro fastening and zip has handy toggle.
