Fed up with wasted lube from overspray and having to protect the rear tyre from it, I thought I'd give this a go.
Was already using SBS's Zing lube, so knew it would fit the can.
The lube now goes exactly where I want it to - straight onto the chain!
No more overspray and no more waste!
This little tool works as described. It takes a bit of getting used to and practice is the key. Chain lubrication, a little and often is made less of a chore and there is a little less cleaning up once you get the hang of it.
Stick this on the end of the can and it directs the spray onto the chain and not everywhere else.
I was a little unsure so just got the one, I swap it from cleaner to lube. When I next go to the shop I’ll buy a couple more. One for each can and a spare.
Didn't have to change the spray head. Just fitted the straw then clipped the applicator on the can. Oiled the chain and the oil went on the chain. Not all over the bike and everywhere else. Brilliant. There was some oil on the floor but, with practice, I reckon that'll get less too.
What a great little tool. I am 61, but wish I had brought one when I was 16, would have made many lubes a lot easier.
Sometimes when you buy something new like this gadget it doesn’t always do what it’s supposed to do. However, in this case it worked really well and made the chain oiling much easier with very little spillage. I was very pleased with the results.
Find it cheaper at any major motorcycle accessory retailer, online or in-store and we‘ll match it.
