Shoei Neotec 3 - Satori TC-6

I like everything about it.

As a glasses wearer the flip front is really useful, makes fitting them properly a doddle when the helmet is on. Another plus is not having to remove the helmet at the request of surly petrol station operators.
Quiet, well made, no visor leaks, very comfortable and excellent field of view with the large visor area.
Expensive but you get what you pay for. For me, I highly recommend

The Helmet arrived earlier than expected, it was well packaged and protected ready for the ride.
The fit is perfect and would recommend it. Sportsbikeshop on line were brilliant.

This is the first flip up I have had and I wouldn’t go back to a full face. Makes life so easy.
Helmet is good quality, reduces draft and noise. Easy to open vent to allow air into the top of the helmet. Sun visor flips down nice and quick. Comes with anti-fog insert.
Very pleased with this helmet. For me, I think it is worth the price.

I'm a regular owner of a Shoei Neotec, but I always wait until they're on sale. Sportsbikeshop delivery is always top-notch, as I received the helmet within 48hrs of the order being placed. This Neotec 3 was at the right price for me and complements my older Neotec 2 well. Nice colour scheme too, as it really stands out.

Great helmet. Typical excellent service at shop (Reading). Selected a specific date for home delivery (to get my size) but it was delivered 2 days early - this caused problems. When helmet arrived the sun visor was hanging off and couldn't get it fitted so had to do a return. First time I've had a problem at sportsbikeshop. Their co-ordination with DPD not good and item clearly not checked before despatch.

Ive always had full face helmets but this is just so comfortable to wear and makes wearing a helmet so convenient, being able to flip up the front and talk / have a drink without having to remove the helmet. The built in retractable sun visor is a massive bonus as it removes the need to wearing sun glasses, and can be popped up and down so easily. I've always worn Shoei and this is by far worth every extra penny over and above a standard full face helmet. Sportsbikeshop were really helpful in explaining the features and fitting my cardo for free (not included in the price of the helmet, that was extra), also going through alternative helmets with me to assist me in making a decision. Would def recommend bot this helmet and Sportsbike Shop for their helpfulness

Quality lid as you’d expect from Shoei. Found visor a little harder to remove & insert but that could be due to being new and not worn in so to speak. Also only gave four stars as inbuilt coms function only accepts a SENA unit and is overpriced.

Brilliant helmet, light and comfortable. Easy slide mechs for lifting the front and clicks down one handed feeling secure.

The people at SBS once again went above and beyond to help. After trying 2 different shell sizes and numerous thicknesses of liner we eventually got one that fitted! And it is a great helmet with good noise reduction. Only fly in the ointment is it appears to leak a little at the visior in heavy rain.

This helmet is so comfortable you almost forget you are wearing it . Very quiet compared to other helmets . I fitted a Sena 10s unit with no problems . Only one minor gripe , the chin strap isn’t very long but it works . Had Shoei helmets years ago and moved away because of price but it’s like the old saying, buy cheap buy twice .

Nice helmet, snug fit, less road noise than my old Neotec.

Purchased in July 2025 and worn three times so far.

Pros:
Very lightweight.
Exceptionally good peripheral vision.
Absolutely no fogging up with pinlock and breathguard fitted (despite being caught out in a sudden downpour).
Smooth and easy to operate flip front and drop down visor.
Very quiet whilst travelling at motorway speeds.
Easy to install Cardo Pack Talk Edge (with Tubbs Jackson off the market bracket).

Cons:
No surface flat enough to attach a GoPro mount.
More of the exterior shell could do with being neon yellow coloured to make wearer easier to see.
