Richa Carbon Winter Waterproof Leather Gloves - Black
Customer Product Reviews
Riding at Zero Degrees
I wanted a lower priced glove for the occasional commute in colder weather. After wearing gloves more suited to summer these felt like putting on oven gloves; however, today I rode in 0c temperature for 90 minutes and arrived with hands and fingers acceptably warm. Whilst big, comfortable and flexible enough to have full control of clutch, brake and acceleration. Not yet tested in wet weather conditions. I am sure that more expensive gloves may be more comfortable or better in other ways, but not at this price point. Ride safe (and warm)
I bought these for my boyfriend and he loves them! He said he finally has some gloves that keep his hands warm. They are waterproof but he said when we had snow it seemed to somehow gone through. Other than that they're amazing. Quick delivery as well.
Really decent for the price
They're pretty good in the cold, but not for any great length of time in the middle of winter. More an autumnal long distance glove. I don't like gauntlets, so these are my backpack spares for my Rev'it Kryptonite. But, all in all, they're good for the money.
Nice warm gloves, great fit.
You can see why these are a best seller, these were recommended to me by the staff at Sports Bike Shop as I was a bit overwhelmed with the choice of winter gloves. And these are perfect for the job, many thanks.
Warm for 15 minutes in the very cold weather. You would not want to be travelling too many miles in the cold with these gloves. The were a budget price and you get what you pay for. You don't have a lot of feeling in your thumb (indicator) but the fastenings are good. The dexterity and feeling you get with these gloves is poor. When you pulling your hand out of gloves if your hand was damp going in, you pull all the fingers out (and then have to use a pencil to push the lining back into place). They are adequate for the money but if you can save and buy a more expensive one it would be worth it.
Not Warm in the Cold
I wish I shouldn't have bought this glove as after 5-6 miles on my bike, the cold bite my fingers and tips. Not warm. It should ok for spring till autumn. SPORTSBIKESHOP would not change for a different pair after I have tested it.
Was needing a new pair of winter gloves and decided to go for these as they had good reviews. A good solid not to bulky pair of gloves but unfortunately they don't keep the cold out, if anyone is needing winter gloves then by the looks of it the only option is go for heated. Fed up of buying gloves that don't keep your hand warm
Good basic winter gloves. With heated grips I find they keep the frostbite at bay for long enough on my commute. In my summer gloves I have hot palms and frozen fingers... They're a bit bulky, which I find slightly annoying in town, but on the open road this is less of a problem. I usually wear a small in unlined leather gloves, and found the mediums to be just right. All in all, I'm pleased with them.
Nice, warm and cozy
Picked up these gloves after reading the reviews and I was not disappointed. They are replacing my 12 year old winter gloves so I suppose anything was going to be an improvement. I first wore these on a 250 round trip (in about 3 degrees?). It got cold but not unbearable (I was using under gloves). The fit seems strange. I got a large and I could use a tiny bit more length in the fingers but this doesn't bother me. The palm area fits spot on but the thumb is a lot longer than I need. I don't know if I have a weird hand or the glove is a bit weird. All in all, I recommend the gloves. They are very comfortable and keep my hands warm.
