Shoei GT Air 3 - Realm TC5

This is my third gt air helmet. Dont think ill ever find another that fits and feels as comfy as this model. Also helps that shoei do many different head and cheek pieces to make the fit perfect for each individual. Can not fault this model. Easily find replacement parts such as the visors and cheeks pieces as with all these parts they degrade over time and become loose but very easy to replace I love the deep down screen visor as it means I can keeo the clear visor but also have the tinted screen visor when its sunny. Also easy to fot my csrdo edge to this visor and hide all the wires.

Great fit, looks good and bought it with a discount, even better.
I originally bought an AGV and the staff got in the bigger size for me to try a month later, unfortunately neither felt quite right so they suggested the Shoei which was more expensive but perfect!
I must say all the staff in the Leeds store are so helpful and knowledgable. I hate trying things on but they made it a pleasure and were so patient.
I have bought many things from SBS and never come across a better company to deal with!!?

This is a great helmet both in looks and quality the In built sun visor is a winner it feels so nice on the staff at the Preston shop where very helpful in getting me the right gear

This helmet not only fits my jacket colour and bike but also fits my riding style. It’s elegant and sits so well on my head that there is no movement whatsoever.

Secure and comfortable with plush lining as expected. I measure at 56-57 cm and Shoei size S is an ideal fit. Liking the switch to central visor closure from previous GT Air. A fair investment but reckon my head’s worth it …

Coming from another brand and having this fitted using the pfs its been perfect fit since day 1!

Worth every penny and as always the patience and welcoming team at Boston made the trip completely stress free.

Paint finish is immaculate, the intercom built in looks and sounds great.

Apart from the quality and comfort of this helmet, I can't praise Sue and her staff enough for their patience and time spent trying on multiple helmets at the Milton Keynes branch.
Service from the beginning, ordering multiple items to try on, till the end including post sale support is consistent and phenomenal. Sportsbikeshop is my first port of call for motorcycle equipment!

This is a great helmet and sportsbikeshop were instrumental in ensuring I got the right size and fit. This is not a cheap item and a helmet is probably the most important thing you ll ever buy for your motorcycle. It s seriously not worth trying to save money ordering things online that might not fit or suit you. It is far better to go to a proper bike shop and get it fitted properly.

From my perspective this is identical to the original GT Air other than a slightly wider outline around the ears - I believe this accommodates a comms system, though I do not use one.

A shame that there is no option to pick custom sized cheek pads (ordered separately at additional cost). Also found a bit of a faff fitting the chin curtain and breath deflector - would have been ideal if these came fitted.

Delivery was good and fast. Happy overall, great product.

Bought this in the sale at really good price matched price! Already had a gt air 2 but fancied a new one with more colour. Extremely comfortable, excellent vision, no fog up on visor and very quiet. Really good, well made comfortable helmet.

Purchased this helmet when the Black Friday deals were on and ordered the large size according to my head measurement. After trying it on with ear plugs and balaclava I thought it seemed a tad too big. Popped into thd Leeds branch of sbs and they booked me in for a fitting. Ordered the helmet in a size M just incase. As it turned out the medium was a better fit and the young lady with the long brown hair (sorry can't remember your name) was very helpful with how it should fit properly.
