Motorcycle Helmets

Really nice helmet at a great price. Bought it for my pillion rider. While the helmet is good.. I really liked the sales team of Sportsbikeshop. They are really friendly and helpful and supported me in finding the right helmet!

I bought this helmet on impulse, as I wanted an adventure style lid and it was in the sale with a big discount. Its true to size, the padding is comfortable and it looks the part. Now the elephant in the room, or rather the one on your head. The helmet is very heavy, the spec says 1850g with peak and visor, mine weights 2002g. When riding you can really feel its heft, head movement become slow and feels like you’re having a bit of a workout. I’ve found it sits heavy on my forehead leading to friction pain and eventually headaches. You also get moderate noise and vibration from the peak at speeds above 50 on a GS with the screen fully up. I really wanted to like this helmet as it looks the part, the visors are good and the flip up mechanisms is secure. Unfortunately its just to heavy for me. It’s now a nice ornament in my office on top of the book case.

I wasn't really very confident this would be with the money, despite being in the budget range. In fact, it's a very nice, well designed and great looking helmet worth considerably more. Well done for this, ls2 and sportsbikeshop.

Great looking helmet, comfortable and a sun visor is a game changer, very pleased.

The helmet is a good fit very smooth action with the flip to open face. I wear glasses so it can be a bit awkward but in time I'll get thier. The anti fog visor is a struggle so take your time, I used surgical gloves as to not leave finger prints.

I am extreme pleased with my Schubert J2. I have been riding for 53 years and normally buy Shoei helmets size L for the fit and comfort. I thought I would try this Schubert J2 having read a few reviews and watched YouTube videos. Following the size guide I went for an XL size which is just right. Straight out of the box it was comfortable and the field of view is as though I was not wearing a helmet. The quality of the shell and the lining are as good as any top class helmet nd the visor movement positive and easy to use. It was a shame that pinlock was not included but not a deal breaker as the visor has stayed free of misting so far. Wind noise with the visor down is excellent but fully open I get a bit of drumming. The drop down sun visor is clear, easy to use and good quality. With the visor down and the top vent open there is plenty of ventilation even on hot days. The chin strap in the ratchet type. Easy to use and adjust. I have not removed the chin bar but there is no need as it does not obstruct my field of view in any way. Overall I am extremely pleased I chose this helmet which is now my go too for the foreseeable future.
